Frist of all, I was one of those individuals that heard so many horrible things about a root canal and my dentist recommended this place to me. Dr. Waxman and her assistant educated me so much about my tooth and the procedure I was getting done on my first consultation. I went in the following week for my root canal and it was absolutely pain free. I did not feel a thing. Dr. Waxman her assistant kept me engaged the whole entire process when he was working on my tooth. My root canal went great after months of dealing with pain and discomfort.

I will recommend this place to anyone per my experience of root canal/mouth surgery. Dr. Waxman's entire stuff members are great as well.

This was my first root canal experience. I can’t believe I was so nervous for absolutely no reason. I didn’t feel a thing and felt completely comfortable the entire time. Also, he must have hired new office staff because they were amazing as well. These negative reviews had to be about other employees! Highly recommend them.

First of all, I would like to echo the other reviewer about Dr Waxman. His ability and skill is really top-notch. And I can't say enough for his bedside manners. Really a wonderful doctor. However, where they fall short is in their office management. After a few months post root canal , I received a call from their contracted debt collector. I was unaware of a balance since I paid in full at the time of the visit. This debt collector was not only rude but also threatened my family. I tried to discuss this with Laura in Dr Waxman office but her tone was very accusatory and not understanding . And although the practice claimed to have sent me many notices, I received none of them. This could be an oversight on their end, but the tone and attitude in trying to resolve this was not appreciated. To give some context, I am completely aware of how insurance and payments work and would have been amenable to resolving this issue with the office. But my advice to others is that don't go through the headache of having to battle your bill. There are many other practices that help their patients and do not resort to abusive debt collectors.

I needed a root canal done on a tooth with a long root that had a serious bend in it that my normal dentist couldn't take care of. After reading all the good reviews, I decided to give Dr. Waxman a try, and I was glad I did. He and his staff are quite professional and want to ensure that you are comfortable and pain free when they start their process. During the 1.5hrs I was in the chair, Dr. Waxman would periodically tell me what he was doing and why. I find this practice of informing the patient of what the Dr. is doing very reassuring. All in all it was as good an experience as you can have when having a root canal done.
