Just bought my first Volkswagen (2018 Tiguan), since the 1970's, about 10 days ago. Ziad has been amazing throughout the whole experience. After a friendly negotiation, we were able to settle on a good deal. And I LOVE the vehicle. When I've stopped by twice since the purchase, Ziad always promptly greets me with a smile. He comes out and checks over the car and treats it like his own. Today I caught him cleaning the windshield. So buying experience definitely rates 5 stars. I'm disappointed to read the poor reviews about the service department though. Hopefully my Tiguan won't have any issues and I can avoid dealing with them.
I purhased a used car from Ziad, “Z”. He has a great deal of integrity and I did not feel like I was pressured or manipulated while I took my time making a decision. The processs was straightforward. I did a lot of research and know that I received a very fair deal on a high quality, well-maintained car. I was well accommodated while on the lot. Ask for Z and you will have a positive experience.
I popped by today to see what was in stock. I ended up receiving outstanding customer service from Ziad, and drove away with a deal I couldn't pass up. He went above any beyond to get me right in the ball park I demanded. I will be sending my friends in his direction, because he is not afraid to work with you. A++
Needed another Golf, but the inventory is limited at this point in the year.
No worries--Ziad Musleh ("Z") helped us track one down, got it over to Flow in a matter of days, and we drove it off the lot yesterday. Excellent customer service, as always. Z is the first person we call.
The service is outstanding, however Thomas Morisse has bad customer service. I had to speak to a manager to get the service I needed. I also heard him address a customer as “The little Asian guy.” I wonder what he said about me, “Hey the tall BLACK guy.” There are certain things you just dont say, always be mindful of yoyr surroundings. Takata sent me a form in the mail about an airbag recall. Just so happens my airbag light came on. I called Flow VW and I was told to bring my car in anyway even though my VIN wasnt on the recall, the young lady told me to bring it in anyway and VW would check it. I bring it in and Thomas wants to charge me $120 to check it. I mentioned what was told to me and he got an attitude. I politely went to a manger and my problem was solved. What happened is there is a Flow in Winston-Salem as well. The Winston-Salem company told me to come in not knowing I am in Greensboro. I serve my country with Pride and Integrity. To be treated like this on and before Veterans Day is disrespectful. His attitude should not be tolerated.
I was in the market for a new car and had thought I wanted another Honda, which is what I've always driven. After speaking with Lisa online and she asked what my goals were since I had a lot of negative equity I was trying to get rid of. She suggested I look at the Volkswagen's because they were offering huge rebates which would help with the negative equity. I said ok, so she emailed me 2 pictures of the Jetta and the Passat. I was like they don't do anything for me, she said, why don't you just take the time to go to the dealership and drive one. So she scheduled me an appointment for Greensboro, but I went to the dealership in Burlington and drove the Jetta. Immediately I fell in love with the Jetta. Unfortunately, Flow VW in Burlington was unable to help me, not that I thought they really tried. I emailed Lisa that Monday morning and was like is there anything they can do in Greensboro since Burlington wouldn't help me? She emailed David who is the head man in charge and he had Brandon call me. They did everything over the phone, asked me the color Jetta I wanted, sent me pictures, I went Tuesday on my lunch break, drove the car went back and signed the papers. Angela who is the finance manager greeted me with open arms and made me feel so appreciated. I signed all the paperwork and now I am the proud owner of a 2017 VW Jetta!!! Definitely give VW a chance, it will be worth it!!!
Today I took my 2003 VW Jetta to the Flow VW of Greensboro for a 4-wheel alignment. They had sent me a coupon for this service, $39 for a normally $89 alignment! How could I not take advantage of such savings?! I now wish I had gone anywhere else, and hope this review makes you pause for a moment before taking your car to Flow VW of Greensboro.
I made a 9:30am appointment and drove on over. The waiting room was clean, and they offered free waters – nice touch. My car wasn’t ready until almost 11am, but they were busy so I was understanding. After leaving I went to grab some much needed breakfast, and that is when I discovered that my inside driver side door handle, the handle the controls my windows and locks, was broken. It had been pulled up and away from the door and then poorly jammed back down. I called Flow VW of Greensboro to alert them of this accident that had occurred while my car was under their care. The answer I got was, “I don’t see how we could have done that. We only fixed the alignment we didn’t do any body work.” So my car door was shut with magic? At no time did anyone touch the door’s handle? After a bit more back and forth I was asked to bring the car back over.
I did, and was still treated like this was somehow my fault. Now in the act of fairness my door handle does have a crack in it, a crack that has been there for years. I’ve even taken this car to Flow VW of Greensboro several different times and at no point did this happen before. The man who came out to see my door handle then proceeds to hit it down with his fist then makes the proclamation, “It’s falling all apart.” Well I don’t think hitting it as hard as you can is going to fix the matter! He drives it back to the mechanic, and is back five minutes later saying, “It’s fixed, but it’s going to break again as soon as you slam the door shut.” It wasn’t a proud moment for me, but all of my patience had been tested to the limit, so I responded with “Then it’s a good thing I don’t slam my car door as hard as I can isn’t it?” And then left.
It was later that same day I get back in my car to pick my child up, and realized with shock and anger that now my driver’s side door handle/control panel will no longer roll my passenger side window up or down – the button won’t move at all. I call back Flow VW of Greensboro and tell the receptionist what has happened, and I must say she was very kind, apologetic, and helpful as she put me through to the manager of the Flow VW of Greensboro’s repair department. I tell the manager my epic tale of door woe, and her response is terrible. “I don’t see how that’s our fault….you said it was cracked so it’s already broken….bring it back tomorrow and we’ll see what we can do” Damaged is a far side different than broken; and her attitude was the icing on the horrible cake that was my interactions with Flow VW of Greensboro. I was fuming.
When I arrived home I watched a three-minute YouTube video then took two minutes and fixed it myself. Easy as that, because I fear if I were to take my car back tomorrow to have them “fix” my door handle they will bring it back to me door handle fixed, but missing the review mirror saying, “I don’t see how we could have done that.”
Definitely one of the best customer service we have experienced in the area of Greensboro. They really put themselves in the customer's shoes! David and Ziad will make you feel at ease and provide you with truthful information.
I was between giving this place a 2 out of 5 stars and a 3 out of five stars mainly because not all of my experience was bad. There are nice greeters at the door waiting to greet you and offer you a water which was pleasant, but my trouble started after that. I was asked my name and what car I was interested in when I walked in and was matched with an employee to be helped. They started by calling me by name and all was well. After about 10 minutes, the employee began to call me another name for the remainder of the consultation. Then, we went out to test drive a car and they had brought the wrong type of car to test drive. It wasn't until after a few moments later when I asked why we were getting in this car when the employee asked what I meant, then I had to explain that this was the wrong car and they said that they didn't know. While I was waiting on the employee to get the right car, they left me in the running car with the keys in it. I'm not going to steal a car, but if the right person would have been in the car, they could have very easily stole the car. The employee was uneducated about the car I was test driving. They admitted at the end of the test drive that I knew more about the car than they did. I had to figure out the features of the car by myself after asking how things worked because the employee didn't know how to use them. Lastly, I asked if we could do some highway driving since most of my driving is done on the highway and they confirmed we would. After taking the back roads back to the dealership, I asked when we were going to drive the highway and the employee stated that they didn't know we were going to. Sorry Flow VW Greensboro, Glow VW Winston has my business.
Every time I have called this place to ask a question or do just a oil change for a brand new Passat. They would transfer me 3 Times and then say we are all booked up till next week. They are unprofessional and when you talk to them over the phone it seems like you are calling Walmart for grocery issue. I made a huge mistake by buying the car and there are used car dealers that are way more professional than them. Slow and careless if you ever want to service a car. Even 1 star is a lot for them. Maybe another location is different but Greensboro one sucks 👎
Don't ever buy a car here. I will never buy another VW after dealing with this service department. This is by far the worst service and experience I have ever had. You have been warned. Two VW's and its always the same story not their fault.
One of the few dealerships around that does NOT play any games. From the salesperson to the sales manager I was treated like a human being, not an ATM. There were no oh-by-the-way $1,800 in add-ons. No tricky, underhanded sales tactics. And no hard sell. A great experience, which is rare in car buying these days. 100% recommended.
I stopped in today to start my search for a new vehicle and could not have been happier with my experience. I worked with Z, a sales consultant, and David, the sales manager. Both were extremely patient and even offered an extended weekend test drive to help me determine if the Passat is right for me. Little do they both know, I plan to purchase tomorrow. Wonderful experience and staff I couldnt ask for a better car buying experience. By the way, I also stopped at another local dealership and felt they were involved only to take my money, not to be of service or meet my needs. Flow VW was the exact opposite and I cannot wait to refer them to my friends and family!
After my car was totaled, i had no idea where to start looking for a new car. After a horrible experience at a location nearby, I went to Flow Volkswagen of Greensboro and met with Rob Garrett. He was never pushy and worked with my budget to show me the vehicles that worked best for me. Not to mention, he was so incredibly nice and made me feel totally comfortable. I am so thrilled that he had the perfect car for me, as at that point I don't know that I would have trusted buying a vehicle from anyone other than Rob. The staff there worked with me on financing, and I was in an out with my new car in a relatively short amount of time. I would recommend this team to anyone in the market. Excellent deals and excellent warranties on beautiful cars, and the customer service can't be beat.
