The $1 coffee deal if you bring your own cup makes Flour an easy destination choice if I'm not quite sure what I want for lunch.

The bread here is outstanding. I've visited several times now and the I've never been disappointed by their sandwiches and soups. Order on the phone to skip waiting in line.

My friend at MIT took me to Flour to have lunch (and try the sticky bun), and I'm so glad she did. We each got a sandwich and shared a sticky bun, and the sticky bun did not disappoint! It lived up to all its praise and glory. I'm kind of sad that I didn't get my own. Next time On the other hand, the sandwich was "okay." It wasn't anything special. I would compare the taste to a panini from Panera Bread, although I assume Flour has better/fresher ingredients.
The takeaway from my review should be to buy your own sticky bun. Don't share it. Buy one--or like fifty--for yourself. However much you can handle.response / report this review -

Excellent spot to get work done with the other industrious people of Cambridge. Iced coffee was pretty good and place has a nice airy feel. Only downside was that no matter which table I sat at, their ventilation system was blowing a chilly breeze at me when it was 35 degrees outside. Their outlets also required some finagling before my powercords would fit in the sockets.

Sticky buns=amazing! Cream brioche are so good too. Nothing will disappoint. Their egg sandwich for breakfast is great and you can’t go wrong. For lunch their sandwiches are very good too! Expect a line around peak lunch and breakfast times. They now have an app though so you can order ahead of time and get points through it! I love Flour. Honestly 10/10

Love the food! A bit of a struggle getting in and out easily. You can't see the bakery case before ordering sometimes and it so crowded and noisy. Otherwise I would have given them five stars.

Pricey, but their pastries and baked goods are worth it! It can get VERY busy here, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time if you're just stopping in for something to go. They've changed a few things - you can check out (with a debit or credit card) when you place your order as you're in line instead of placing your order then waiting to go to the register. However, if you're paying cash, let them know first so they can get your order going but let the person at the register know you'll be seeing them to pay (kind of makes me feel like an outcast whenever I pay cash, haha). I have anxiety in crowds so I usually go here with a coworker to help with that. It gets so, so crowded. The line intersects with people waiting for their orders, who then block the area where you put cream and sugar in your coffee or grab a napkin so it can be overwhelming (even if you don't have anxiety).

I love the Green goddess dressing on the chopped Greek salad. Also the sticky buns and Oreos are delicious. Honestly, you can't go wrong.

Good place to grab a sandwich, all of which are pretty tasty. Might be a bit small if you're hungry though and it gets crowded during lunch.
The coffee is fine, not too bad, not too good. The pastries are ok and the brioche loaves are also great.response / report this review -

Great place for a coffee and pastries and/or a sandwich. The coffee is a little hit or miss, depending on the person preparing it. But the pastries and sandwiches are always top notch. Great place to get a cake as well.

Aptly named, Flour Bakery is a patisserie serving a scrumptious selection of breads, pastries, quiches and the likes along with an assortment of teas and coffees. They also offer a variety of craft sandwiches. Located in the heart of Cambridge, Flour is best approached on foot or by bicycle. Seating is limited to two window bars and some small tables, which makes securing a sit down meal challenging during the morning rush hours or when the weather is inclement.

My first visit here was pleasant. I didn't have to to wait long even though it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The cashier/server was supet friendly and took my order with ease. I wasn't excited at how long it took to package up the pieces of pie I ordered to go but there is cold water and lovely music while you wait and an ever changing inspirational quote to entertain you. You can also peek through the latest Flour cook book in the small retail area although I wouldn't want to get back in line necessarily. But their cookbooks are AMAZING! By the way the, and most importantly, the pies were incredible and loved by everyone who tasted them!

As long as you get here before all the pastries are gone, this place is great! Their cinnamon pecan rolls are phenomenal. Their sandwiches are certainly a weak point on their menu and could use some improvement, but this is still one of my favorite brunch places in Cambridge.
