This is really not a good hospital. They are understaffed and their objective is to get you out, they have no interest in finding any underline issues. I feel the Dr. Is very unskilled. Just a flat out bad hospital.

Prepare to get reamed to the tune of at least 2K per ER visit, be it kidney stones to bronchitis. If you're out of options, then I guess anythings ok. Last time I came in for stones, it took 9 hours of pain and waiting before they finally wrote me a prescription. Had to practically beg one of the nurses to get something light in the short term. Pray you get sick/injured on a slow night

Worst hospital ever. There’s been more deaths here than any other hospital in the world. I went in there because I was having chest tightness and clearly hyperventilating, and they told me it was because I was breathing in stomach acid. I went to my regular gastronologist and he told me that was the funniest thing he ever heard in his 35 years of working. Also, whenever it was time to get my IV I asked them to do it in my hand, and they said “No I see a perfectly good vein here” & poked me 6 times without even FEELING for a vein. The 7th time they got it ONLY because i insisted on my hand. The doctor I saw was terrible. She walked in on my changing into the gown and whenever I said give me a second she said “It looks like you’re almost done” and refused to walk out until I yelled at her and told her to leave. Don’t take ANYBODY to this hospital unless you truly hate them and want them to die. I went to Florida Menorial Medical Center hospital the next day and they gave me medication for anxiety which helped a lot.

My husband & I were in a car accident & Dr. Witter didn't seem like he even cared. I feel like the rushed us to be checked out. My husband was& still is in a lot of pain. I'm very pissed about how we were treated if we ever have to go to an Er again we will be going to a different hospital for sure. O & my husband was brought in by an ambulance & he was there for a 1 1/2 before I got there. They didn't give him anything for the pain until he was there for 2 hours.

My 80 year old father fell on Friday (before the hurricane). He hit his head and shoulder. He lost consciousness for a brief time. The hospital did xrays and cat scan, put a sling on him and discharged him in 3 hours. He has a broken arm and extensive bruising around his left eye and forehead. They told us to follow up with a specialist. The only thing they said about his head i jury was that there us no bleeding on the brain. He still has difficulty walking and balancing. He can not do anything on his own. It was obvious they just wanted us out. We've been there before and They take 4 hours just to take and review a cat scan. The nurse was nice, but they did nothing for the long term medical needs. We will never go there again. Central Florida Hospital is a few miles away. We have an appointment with an attorney.

Worst st ever it seems they try to run this healthcare facility like a financial institution, it comprises patient care ,they have unqualified personnel making important health desicions they have no universal precautions policy or they don't use them ,this hospital spreads mrsa and they don't even care they hide lab results and treat patients like they did something wrong. I will be contacting an attorney as I feel very violated of my right to be treated even if I didn't have copay ,I could have died with infection in my blood but I came back 2 days later and I was going sepsis.Everyone that took care of Me in the Er. Should be fired and everyone else needs educated on infection control or better yet bulldoze the entire building and start over

I was sent here after I had a CT scan. I had to have an emergency appendectomy. Dr. Dennis Diaz was the doctor on call and he met me at the hospital shortly after I was referred. My experience was wonderful from start to finish. All the staff was helpful, efficient, friendly and most important, competent. I know Fish Memorial doesn't have the best history, but now that Florida Hospital has taken over, I would highly recommend this place and go back in the future.

I called trying to make an appointment for an MRI of the knee. Was not able to schedule an appointment because I did not have a certain code took me almost an hour to get the code I needed due to the Dr being busy. I called back as soon I got the information and was asked another question that was not on the script and was almost not able to make my appointment AGAIN explained to the lady I was speaking with (did not say her name when answering the phone) that they should be more specific on what they need in order to make an appointment did not make my appointment because I was offered a Friday the first time and then offered a later appointment the second time. This was very frustrating seeing that I am in pain. last time I call here for an appointment.

Worst hospital I have ever been to. I had a dislocated shoulder, went to the ER, with only 2 people there and ended up waiting 3 hours for them to finally see me. The doctor finally came in to relocated my shoulder and after popping it back in place, he moved my arm and dislocated it again, it hurt even worst than the first time. I swear the entire hospital heard me scream in pain. Every single time I go to Fish memorial, It is the worst service ever. The name fits it right, because the place stinks.

Went in thru ER less than 24 hours of arriving in Florida on 9/8/16. I am a kidney transplant recipient and type 1 diabetic and 100.5 fever. After finally getting labs drawn 5 hours after being put in a room my blood work for blood bacteria was contaminated. Today I'm sitting in another hospital at home for 2 and a half days because all labs needed to be done. I could go on and on about this hospital. I was to be admitted but signed a AMA so I could leave and not be under their care.

You may get in quick but you sure won't be helped quick. I got put through a CT scan (pricey) and was told what was wrong but didn't give me the antibiotic to fix it or the shot to alleviate the pain. The Dr. came in at the last minute and said oh wait before I send you on your way do you need a pain pill to help with the pain. I have had a severe headache for 4 days. I didn't want a pill I could go buy over the counter for 2 dollars to the 20 dollars I was going to be charged at the hospital. I go out of my way to Sanford Hospital because at least I know I will get the help but because I could barely drive I went to Orange City NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! If I won't take my own child that is saying something!!!!!

Very caring, wonderful staff!! My husband came for an emergency visit, we had no waiting on Saturday morning of a holiday weekend, and were set up immediately. Well, maybe it was five minutes. Our nurse Michael answered all our questions, was proficient, upbeat, and took really good care of the equipment in the room. He inserted a needle (without causing pain) for the blood tests with total ease and confidence.

Dr. Moses who was our doctor there, handled everything for us, answered all our questions, discussed the results of the CT scan and our options, and even tried to set up the next consultation for that afternoon with another doctor. He was absolutely TERRIFIC!!!

We had a very positive experience at this hospital!!!
