A wonderful mixed hike in with forested and open areas along a river met by pools of warm water for relaxing. Easy overall hike and worth the crowds!
Not worth the hype but still worth checking out. It’s super shallow and made me feel like I️ drove and hiked way longer than I️ should have (from Provo) just to sit in a couple of warm puddles.
Beware of naked old men, but overall the people watching experience is well worth the mild hike. If you are feeling crazy, try going on the weekend where the pools will be overflowing with forest folk So I've heard, I'm not wild enough to attempt this much social interaction yet.
Really neat place. 2.2 mile hike isn't too strenuous, my 7 year old did it, but isn't too easy either. Go straight from the parking lot, don't go over the bridge. We were confused at first. It's a well define d trail. Hot and cold water mix instantly and it's cool to see. Bring swimsuits and towels!
After a 2 mile hike to get there it's a little stinkier than I'd prefer, but absolutely beautiful scenery. Good, warm water, and beautiful surroundings.
Don't try to bring an RV here. There's nowhere you'll be able to park it. Springs were well worth the hike, though. Wish I could've stayed longer.
This is a great trail and not too difficult. I've done this twice in the summer and in the heat, getting to the end of the trail was not very rewarding. The last thing I wanted to do was get in hot water in the middle of the day and it was insanely busy.
However I camped overnight in the spring time and it was excellent. There are lots of spots to camp along the trail and past the falls. Getting in the hot springs at night when it was cooler outside was amazing! There were quite a lot of people there though, especially teenagers. This trail seems to just always be busy.
I loved this place. The fall gives you cold water and another stream coming out of mountain gives hot water. The bath tub made of rocks amazing.
In the summer, it's about a 2.5 mile hike out and back. Arrive early if you want to beat the crowds. If you can brave the cold of the waterfall, I highly recommend climbing behind it and poking your head out of the circle cutout; makes for a great photo opp. Some pools are hotter than others. If you have any silver jewelry it will turn black from the sulfer in the pools, so make sure to take it off before you get in! Overall, it's a great hike.
Sometimes crowded, everyone is flocking to here. Basically a tourist area. If you know the right times to go (eg. before end of May when all the high school kids have to be back home) then it's great. If you choose the weekend, expect it to be packed with no parking available. Other than that, met some awesome people here!
Pretty long hike to sit in a pool of mud. Can be pretty crowded
I come here multiple times a year. Most amazing place salt lake has to offer. Hiking, drinking, and hot springs. There's a short 2 Mile and something hike up. It's all free and natural. It's not too crowded if you go at the right time. Plus, it doesn't close! So you can bring a bottle of wine and your best buddy. Just please watch out for cops even you leave. They're serious.
A fun 5 mile round trip hike to the hot springs. There's quite a few pools of varying temp you can soak in. Pretty slick when snow is on the ground be sure to have boots and if have them clamp ons. In the summer make sure you have water.
It was pretty clean this trip, help keep it that way by packing out your trash.
Solid uphill hike to the strings makes you feel like you got out and moved. Plenty of pools to choose from. Have a dip in the waterfall to lower your body temp after you get out - the hike out will feel much better!
