Love this place. I don't know why they want to build a new stadium, this one's great.
There isn't a bad seat and all seats provide a good vantage point to see what's going on.

Who’s the smart guy that decided it would be a great idea to play baseball in doors. I hate seeing my Reds play inside. Papa john pizza inside is cool though. But seriously, baseball inside? What next? AP

It may not be the the nicest or prettiest stadium but let me say everything else makes up for it. AC at 72 degrees, affordable seats, and overall a relaxed atmosphere to see a baseball game! Family friendly activities all around the park and a bar where you can chill out and watch the rays. Personally i think it is a very enjoyable experience for everyone

We were seated in the press box with a group. It was great! Tropicana Field is air conditioned! It's the best way to see baseball during the summer in Florida! The field is easy to get to. They have ample parking and plenty of food and souvenir kiosks. Like all professional ball fields, the prices are very high for almost everything. Go Rays!

Been going to this stadium a long time. Is it the best place to go to a baseball game? No. But it's comfortable. In Florida that's all you can ask for sometimes. I'd rather sit in an air conditioned stadium at night than outside in Florida with the humidity. Prices are some of the lowest in the league also.

Love watching the Rays play! So glad they let you bring in your own food and drinks. It keeps it more afordable. Just make sure the drink bottle lids are sealed. There's also 7-Eleven night on Fridays where you can go to 7-Eleven and get tickets for $7.11. They are seats in the rafters, but you can still see everything. Not sure if that deal is still going on, but check it out.

Everyone knows the Rays try to provide the best fan experience they can, and they really try to make the fans happy and engaged throughout the game. So, they deserve high marks for customer service BUT, I’d be lying if I told you attending a game there is a great experience. It’s fine for those that haven’t been to a major league game before, or go once or twice a year, but, truthfully, its just not a very good stadium. It’s more like going to a stadium that is half way between a Triple-A venue and a Major League venue. I could go on, but, I think you get the point. Fun to go every once in a while, but lacks the charm, aesthetic, and amenities of most every other ball park in the majors.

Home stadium and love it! No matter what anyone says about the dome, nobody wants to sit outside when it's 93 degrees while in the thunderstorm capital of the world. I'll stick with the a/c and the dry seats, thanks. What would be cool is if they could take that dingy white canvas off and put on a clear dome with a big lightning rod! Who's with me?!?

Great experience, but the stands should have more people in them. $9 or $11 for a beer is ridiculous! !. If I was running the place, I would have promotional ideas to get fans in the place. See the organization doesn't really care because they are making so much off TV contracts, the bucks are pouring in. Make it that you don't have drop hundreds of dollars to go to a game. Even $15 to park!! Really! They are ripoff artists. But they need to bring down prices, and fill the place. How about some food discounts, and not some special once a month, have multiple specials every night. Enjoyable night, especially being indoors in Florida during the summer. The place is a nice stadium, clean, nice level of security, very helpful staff. Ticket representative was very patient. He didn't try selling you a seat behind the score board. The problem, you just can't go there frequently, too expensive.

I am a fan of the quirkiness of this stadium which probably makes me one of the few. It is a stadium meant to house a different sport so it has odd seats, obstructed views and pathways to nowhere. But, I love it the ability to bring in outside food/drink (water that is sealed) makes it affordable and many of the in-house offerings and options for food and beer are top notch

Took in a Rays doubleheader. Drove up from Sarasota in a downpour and entered the Trop in a shower.
Bought ticket at ticket office- pleasant and friendly staff. Purchased soda at concession- polite, efficient and friendly staff. Got to seats- Courteous and friendly usher. Game 1 was excellent, game 2 fun and I was dry and cool in the A/C the whole time.
    Fantastic experience.

Attended my first major league baseball game here! It was fun, and I was impressed with the venue! So many tasty food choices! I personally didn't like how lout the music was during breaks, but I get why they do it.

I saw the Rays and Yankees play there a few weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Rays fans were friendly towards us. Everybody seemed to be there for a fun time. A great place to see a ball game.

People love to bash this place but for me it's just fine. You can afford to take a family, it's indoors, $6 tall boy beers, small park so real intimate. Is it a cathedral? Nope! Is it fun to catch a game there? Yep!
