I have been here probably more than any other restaurant. So that says a lot. Cool place for a long time. Two trends here that bother me though - they are pushing all their own beers at the expense of their previously eclectic collection of far and wide craft brewer selections; and so many of their sandwiches are dry. They really need to address that - add some dressings, mayos, aioli's, etc. New smoked wings however are fantastic.

The best sandwiches around. Period. The wait can be really long at times (like an hour and a half or more), but we just have a few beers as we wait. I recommend the Chicken Little. The sandwiches are monsters, so if you only do small portions, you can share, take some home, or be wasteful.

Activity sought out eating here after eating at the Fatheads in Cleveland OH. I found that the food was not as amazing in comparison. The burger was ok. Wasn't impressed with the cheese whiz type of cheese on the fries. The whole wings are very tasty with the BBQ sauce. I'm not actually a huge fan of craft beer, but did try the Bumble Berry, it was definitely different, but drinkable. The berries at the bottom were the best. It was nearly an hour wait on a Saturday evening. Environment was good & games were on TV. I just had higher expectations from my visit to the Cleveland OH location!

drawn by the promise of 'sandwiches as big as my head' i tried fatheads tonight for the first time in perhaps 12+ years (and very hungry after a serious workout). i was impressed by their in house-brewed beer, but disappointed by the dry burger ordered med/med-well and expected it to be at least a little bit pink, but it was well done. too hungry to send it back, thankfully their house made ranch was tasty enough to drown it in to make it edible. overpriced underwhelming choices, taking our money somewhere else next time.

Nice atmosphere totally layed back, casual, friendly, and very inviting. Unfortunately we didn't eat this trip, way to full from the best burger I've had in a long time.. from Jamison's.(Dormont) We did enjoy a couple cold brews!🍻 and part of the Penguin game GO PENS🐧🐧🐧. bartenders were very attentive and quick with seconds and thirds and fourths. You get the picture. 😵😝🙋👍👌

Great food. Great drinks. Friendly staff. The place can get a little crowded - so book ahead if possible. A perfect place to hang out with a good group of people.

Great beer, great food, service is good. They are often busy so expect to wait a bit but it's well worth it.

Great recent remodel. Menu has been tweaked to include past favorites. The smoked grilled wings are the best in the city. Most things are made in-house. Staunch supporters of local suppliers and ingredients. If you have a favorite that is no longer on the menu ask your server and if they have the ingredients they will make it for you. Also, ask to be seated in Pat's section if she is working. She is the best.

This is a great place for either drink with friends or to grab a decent meal. Not quite a full entree options but way way beyond "bar food" - excellent unique sandwich and burger options with some salad and app choices too. And tons of great beer on tap!

4 stars due to renos underway (not their fault but did affect our experience).

The smoked brisket and pastrami were devine As noted in the name of the dish I had the divine bovine. The IPA is top notch. Highly recommend.

Our server tori was very good as well

The garlic parm wings are amazing! If you're looking for a good place to take friends from out of town, this is the place. The sandwiches here are called "headwiches" because they're huge. I believe they have vegetarian options, not sure about vegan options. Expect a wait, this place is usually busy!

An absolute Pittsburgh staple. Amazing beers,Alpenglow is one of my all time favorite beers. Great food, grilled salmon Ruben is my favorite meal in Pittsburgh. Can't beat it!

But they got rid of seating genius! (That's sarcasm)
