I was introduced to this nail salon several years ago by a friend, and recently started visiting here again. While it’s a beautiful salon, I’ve made my final visit for the foreseeable future. They pressure you into getting gel, which is my first point of irritation. A customer should feel free to choose whatever type of manicure or pedicure they wish! Each time I have gotten a full set, my nails have lifted and broken. I switched to acrylic to see how long they would last, and barely five days after walking out of this salon, my nails were lifting so badly that the next time I went in, all of the tips had to be removed so I could start over! I went with gel this time and eight days later, one nail had popped off and several others were lifting. I went in and voiced my concerns to Richard, the owner, and told him I had been in the week before and paid $50 to have my manicure done. He sat me down with another nail tech and then came over and tried to convince me I needed a fill in. You shouldn’t need a fill in eight days after getting a $50 manicure! They did fix my broken nail but refused to do anything about the ones that were lifting unless I made an appointment for a fill in.

I had a gel manicure and spa pedicure from this salon in Goldsboro.
They all do a very good job from what I got and what I saw on others. They are very attentive, I came in as a walk in and was taken right away. Make sure to make an appointment for the acrylic manicure when you come and get your nails done. I'm very content with the services. Prices are affordable and reasonable.
Definately Fashion Nails Spa isn't a missed place on me and my friends for the next time

I came in here after calling for an appointment and was very contented with experience. The staff here were very friendly. The prices are fair! Clean tools. I won't go anywhere else.

I have been going to this place for quite some time, and honestly the main reason was because they have a lot of technicians working, and I can usually get seen relatively quickly-even though it takes a while for them to do my nails. I had asked them before to not put gels on my already hard and thick nails and they always pressured me into it. I would have to come in 2-3 times in between fill ins to pay for repairs! Well I stopped going there for a little while because the last time I went in there they literally ripped my skin off my face causing scabs on my eyebrow and my nails looked way too thick with gel. Well I switched to another salon and I have had no issues, However I am getting married in a few days and I went to get my nails done with them and broke one literally that day! I do not understand why every time they do my nails, my nails break. Also, it already looks like I need a fill in because of how thick they made my nails, and there is a small gap between my cuticle and regular nail, and a couple nails are crooked! I went in this afternoon and told them what happened and I had to almost beg them for my money back. They kept saying they would fix it, but would not refund my money. I said I don't want to get my nails done here anymore! Finally she agreed, but said I would have to wait for a phone call. So I guess we will see if I will actually get one!

I was hesitant to start getting my nails at Fashion Nails Spa. This is an incredible experience.
I was offered a cup of coffee. VERY QUICKLY. They reached out, showed they really were serious of what they did. The space is always clean and quiet.

I am usually very happy with my service here. but I went to get my eyebrows done and the room was dirty! Dirty blanket to lay on. Paper towels under your head. Floor was disgusting!!! And she was scraping the bottom of the barrel on the wax the entire time. It wasn't until I got up that I realized she was dipping the same stick in to the wax, which is gross and unhygienic! Every time you need more wax you get a new stick. Not difficult! All it takes is one person getting an infection never going back there again.

This salon is everything you could ask for. Friendly staff and excellent service. I have now gotten a no-chip manicure here 3 different times and I will not go anywhere else! Each time I have gone I have had different people do my nails, and each has been amazing. The staff really takes their time to make your nails look perfect. Tons of colors to chose from as well. I was so excited to come here, and was impressed at first. I arrived at 11:30 AM, as a walk-in, and was seen right away - which is nice! It took an hour and a half for my guy to put acrylics on me. I haven't had acrylics in about a year, and my nails were healthy - but short - as for the holidays, I wanted them longer. Long story short, all I got was one color, nothing fancy, full set of acrylics and it took him an hour and a half (had to go straight to work after), some are slightly crooked, and I have SO MUCH GUNK underneath my nails, acrylic attached to my fingers (had to pull them off as if it was dried glue but obviously a lot thicker/more tough), he filed my natural nails down so much that they've been sore all day to the touch, the sides of hardened acrylic appears to be pouring off (not filed into a straight side), and he kept filing the top down after every mistake so my supposed to be long nails are now short. I didn't have time to sit and have him re-do them because I had work, and I get off so late and leave so early for Christmas Eve, I won't be back until Monday.

If I go here again, it's to get a refund or them taken off for free.

I used to really like this place, but their prices have gone up considerably for the gel nails and they have several different kinds of gel nails. They don't ask you what kind of gel nails you want, they tell you pink and white which is $50 or more and you have no clue what they are saying. If you tell them you want the cheaper gel nails they laugh at you and make you feel like you are being cheap! Even though they look the exact same as the more expensive ones I felt like my last experience here was awful and humiliating! Very disappointed with their customer service for nails and also waxing I have a scar right above one of my eyebrows where the eyebrow doesn't grow, and the woman acted like there was nothing she could do for it, even though it isn't even noticable. I have had my eyebrows waxed there many times with no problem. I have never had a real problem there til recently. Will be taking my business elsewhere!
