Best service, staff, know their stuff plus more, and top notch products. I love this place. They do group rides, demos, ave maps, help build trails, sponsor events, etc. They even have beer onsite to drink if you're waiting/hanging out.

I ordered a set of custom built wheels from the website and it was a great experience from beginning to end. I used the online chat option while building my wheels to get a couple answers I needed, and even though it wasn't instantaneous feedback, it was nice to have that as an option to use when there was someone available on the other end.
The shop did an excellent job at keeping me in the loop as a buyer. They let me know the lead time when the order was submitted, and then later on they gave me a call to let me know that they had made a small mistake ( spoke nipple color option) and offered to rebuild the wheel, or give me the upgraded option at no additional expense.
Shipping was fast, and the wheels came packed cleanly and safely with an envelope containing slip detailing hub spoke lengths and tension as well as an itemized receipt detailing not only the parts, but each step of the labor process. The presentation was awesome to say the least.
To cap things off, I paid a good $150 less than any other wheel builders that I had gotten estimates from. Needless to say, even though I'm not local, I will definitely be a return buyer.response / report this review -

Excellent customer sevice! I recently made several component puchases, Fanatikbike tracking and follow-up emails were prompt and helpful. You might pay a little more on other sites, but the expertise of this shop is unsurpassed. Wish I lived in Bellingham!

Great customer service at Fanatik Bike Co. Went in with a warranty problem on a bike part and Riley was super helpful with his suggestions. I've always given them my business and will continue. Highly recommend this shop for purchases and repairs.

Fanatik bike companies labor costs are nothing to be Fanatik about. I have busted, bent, flat spotted more then my fair share of 20" 24" 26" and 27.5" wheels over the years. Before you give Fanatik $180.00 dollars of your hard earned money to lace up one front wheel, shop around. They were double the cost of two other shops I called before having my wheel fixed.
Save $80.00 just by making a phone call to another shop in town.response / report this review -

On my way to BC from Fl, I stopped in. The salesman stopped what he was doing to answer ALL my questions. I told him I was interested in an XL Evil Wreckoning and educated me on the bike. He told me it would be overkill for central Fl. He showed me Santa Cruz and other evil models in my size more appropriate for my locale and my style. I was blown away they had so many XL's. I appreciated his honesty and time. You've made me a fan of your store.

I used the website wheel builder to order a custom rear wheel. I had a question which was promptly answered by the staff over the phone, and then ordered my wheel. It was built and shipped quickly and after a handful of rides the spoke tension is still good. The wheel shipped with a card including the wheel builder's name and the final spoke tensions for reference. Fantastic, highly recommend their wheel building service.

Mixed experience overall. My partner and I both bought bikes from Fanatik about 6 months apart. He had a really good experience, me not so much. I'll save you the long story, but when it comes down to it, Fanatik sold me a bike with bent disk rotors and refused to own up to their short fall. I brought the bike back twice for them to correct the mistake, but brakes were only loosened so the pads won't rub the tire and were not replaced as they should have. Nice. After the second time of trying to get it fixed properly, and getting lame excuses in response, I decided it wasn't worth my time to continue to pursue it. This bike was no small purchase for me, and the good customer service ended after Fanatik had my money. I skipped my 3 month complimentary tune up.
