This was such a romantic get-a-way destination! Our cabin was beautifully secluded and nestled in the trees next to a pond! Beautiful inside with interesting, cozy details and warm with our stove insert! Large, comfy bed with handmade metal tree headboard & footboard. Couch could have been more comfy but no other complaints. Hot tub, views, clean, surf animalsjust lovely!

It's right on thge beach! Adorable little wooden cabins dot the shoreline. The view is just spectacular. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, too. The grounds are well kept. There's a little store on the grounds with some basic a supplies but there's a bigger grocery store several miles away if you need it.

A well run and very peaceful place away from all traffic noise and on the sound. We had an RV spot with more room than usual in a commercial park and we also had a view of the ocean from.our picnic table. The shared bathroom was very clean and the shower was hot. You can luxuriate in a 6 minute shower for only one dollar. It was our first time there, but we were impressed and made reservations for next year.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at West Beach Resort. We stayed in a tent cabin. It was clean, roomy, and bed was comfy. We also appreciated the towels and firewood that were included in our stay. The general store has lots of activities and rentals. Resort is in a nice location on the island. Beach is very rocky and lots of seaweed. I was surprised to see other reviews mention clean showers. Showers were often dirty mid morning and had TONS of spider webs all over. During the summer weekends I would think the showers and port a potties should have frequent cleanings. We also had to clean out the BBQ before we could make dinner our first night. I believe cleaner facilities along with closer access to water/power should be expected at the $140 nightly rate.

Myself and my extended family have been coming here every year for the last 17 years. It's great. Gorgeous view. Nice cabins. Cool corner store. I just got back from kayaking and watching the sunset.

Beautiful grounds, lots of activities available, along with so many different lodging options. People are very nice. Even left treats in the room for my dog. We stay in #16. It eas a studio set up. It hand a microwave, dishes, flat ware, cook ware, small refridge, but over frozen freezer, sink, coffee maker, toaster.dish towels, dish drainer and reg with sponge. No burner or oven. Or extra bowels. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very roomy. Clean and comfortable. They supplied fire wood the first nite for fire pit. Nice chairs by the pit. It has a charcoal BBQ. We didn't use it. Nice table and bench on the covered deck. Have a broom to sweep cabin and deck to help keep clean. Floors and interior are all nice natural wood. Had a lovely stay!

Wonderful location right on the beach. 5 minutes from grocery store and restaurants. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We stayed in the most rustic of cabins. Small, clean with lots of charm. Only reason not 5 is the bed is hard as a rock with scratchy sheets.

Nice stop in a boat. Gas, ice cream, local beer.
Moreing docks are not in yet but the said they are getting ready to put them in.

The staff are very nice and the office atmosphere is cool, but the sites have no privacy. Even the more wooded tent sites are so close together. The noise level was so load even after the quiet hours.

West Beach Resort is a great place to get together with friends for a long weekend, even during the off season. Nice, clean, well-appointed cabins, and the scenery is lovely. All kinds of interesting things to see and do on Orcas Island, and the resort is a great place to stay while doing it.
