There's no way you can experience ohiopyle without spending an afternoon/evening at Falls City Pub. They have an exceptional beer selection, an outstanding menu, and there's always something fun playing over the sound system. As an added bonus, this place has an uncanny ability to make you feel as if you are sitting in a cabin somewhere in the Colorado Rockies!

Charged me 12 bucks for some quesadilla that was only 4 little triangles with hardly any meat or vegetables on it and they try to say it's shareable. Huge joke, big ripoff we shouldn't have paid for it. Beer is selection is nice, food is iffy appears to be way overpriced. Stick to the staples such as burgers and wings unless you spot something worth it, and actually SEE it first. I go out to eat 4 times a week, trust me I know my $hit.

Spiced shrimp and Brisket very good.Live music on weekend. Would have given 5 stars if they had beer other than IPA and weaker beers. Get at least 1-2 imperial stouts of 9+% abv.

We were lucky to find this place when everything else was closed. You should try to find it too. They have a good beer selection and a great smoked brisket. The staff was friendly and service was fast. There's a pool table and several televisions over the bar.

This place is incredible. Awesome beer selection, greats prices and the radio is always playing 90's alt. Can't get any better.

Good atmosphere and live music, friendly service. Food varies from pretty good to unremarkable. Prime example of the latter would be that their Mac n cheese side dish (a $4 addition) appears to simply maybe 1/3 of a box of Kraft. Service can be a little slow as well, and the "seat yourself" policy has resulted in long wait to even get service on a couple occasions. The beer selection is fair, prices reasonable, although I was overcharged +$1 per beer on one visit (I failed to notice on the bill until we left).

Been there once. Food was good, staff was polite. However, I agree with others that the service is slow and also, they overcharged my friend's card by a LOT and we were on vacation, it was a good portion of the money we had for food for the week. After waiting a while for it to be fixed (we drove all the way back from our campsite, as we had just got back and was relaxing for the night before checking the balance on our card) they ended up just giving him the cash back to fix it. They were helpful in resolving the situation but more training needs to be given to the employees. We plan on giving the place another try this summer because hey, food was good and there aren't many options in the area. Just don't be in a rush and use cash.

A warm-ish day in February = the best time to work up an appetite with a hike on the trail and a burger at the Falls City Pub the perfectly grilled burger with chips and homemade salsa gave me a much-needed taste of summer in the middle of winter. I can't wait to get back to Ohiopyle for some paddling.

This is a rating of about 20 visits to the falls city pub. The food is usually good. The drink selection is good as well. The reason for the low rating is that the service is usually very slow. I keep hoping that the service gets better, but it just does not. I probably will end up back there because it's the only place in town, but I will minimize my visits. Bottom line, plan on a long visit and have lots of patience. Hopefully the owner or manager will see this post and make some improvements. The place has a lot of potential to be very good. As it is right now, I'm usually sorry when I go there.
