This hotel is a class above the rest. Was totally spoiled by the Fairmont Gold floor with delightful evening wine and snacks and a wonderful breakfast spread in the morning. Also loved the workout gear next to the bed upon arrival - and yes I did go to the nice, oversized gym in the basement. Plus the autumn walk around Georgetown was also a treat.

If there was a 6 stars rating, I would have chosen it!

A very welcoming atmosphere plus a beautiful seating area. Most rooms have small balconies. Great service.

CVS is a couple of steps away, and it's open for 24 hours. The rooms are spacious and are fully supplied with everything you need.

Great coffee and tea bar. And there are things in the refrigerator for your convenience!

    Overall in one word, generous.

Love this hotel. Rooms are all spacious (smallest is 400 sq ft) and well maintained. Location is good for Georgetown and Dupont Circle. Would be a hike to the museums and the mall. Good dining options around. Breakfast at Junipers is, well, okay. But this is my go-to hotel in DC. Excellent service overall (surprised they don't have a spa with massage service though).

The drinks are good, with some delicious and creative cocktails. Definitely try the honey rye buzz. Unfortunately they're quite expensive, even for Washington. The happy hour used to be quite good (most cocktails were half off), but over the past few weeks, they have consistently increased their happy hour prices while simultaneously reducing the number of drinks available at happy hour prices.

Excellent service here. Very impressive. Nice quiet area, good location. The décor and surrounding inside are NOT the most beautiful hotel in town but it is evident it is very well run and the people who work here seem to enjoy their work. I hope to return.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

In a word; Impeccable!!! This is a very European hotel in its attention to detail, yet very welcoming and non-fussy in an American way--A nice confluence of contradictions. Our interaction with staff was great--they were relaxed yet polite and always on the look out for how to deliver whatever you needed. We had breakfast brought up to our room every morning and even early, early morning tea before that. Everything delivered with perfection and flair. The hotel has a real health club in it--not just a hotel-type gym. I loved being able to drop in for a class just like we do at home. Rooms are larger than the standard hotel room. They have couches or other sitting arrangements which makes a big difference.

The check in and valet were wonderful. The room was very nice. We ordered in room dining around 8:30 pm. One person has a gluten allergy (Celiac Disease) and the person on the phone taking the order send confident in the options that would be safe for this dietary need. When the food arrived, the meal that was flagged as gluten free has something else added to the plate. Bring unsure of what it was and it the food was safe to eat, we called in room dining to check. The person on the phone was very confused and was unsure of what was on the plate and made it seem like it was an inconvenience to her to ask the chef what it was on the plate. She was very frustrating to talk to and we then asked to speak with the food and beverage manager. It took a while for them to locate that manager and her a phone call back. The manager had the kitchen make a new meal that was exactly what was ordered the first time, but not what arrived. The first time the food was bright up, they also bright gluten free toasted bread. The food and beverage manager stated that the bread would have been toasted in a little gluten free toaster. Sadly, something was contaminated as the person with Celiac Disease ended up getting very sick that night. Check out was easy and the valet had the car ready to go quickly.

I work a large conference at the Fairmont each year. The staff and facilities are exemplary. The space is comfortable and the food is excellent. Our vendors and guests always speak highly of their experience at the Fairmont.

Beautiful lobby and courtyard. Service was amazing. In fact they went way out of their way to give us an amenity with a picture from our wedding and fruit and cheese board. Our room was upgraded as well. 5 stars.

I spent an hour or so at the wonderful bar at the Fairmont in DC. It's exactly what you want from a bar at a high end hotel. The service was top notch and the cocktails were outstanding. I recommend the Bee-tini, but ask for it to be made with the old recipe. You will not be disappointed!
