Stayed the weekend in off peak time; got a good deal. The rooms are clean, modern, well decorated and very comfortable. The property is not in what you would call "Newport Beach proper," but it's a short drive to get to just about anything you want: Fashion Island, Irvine Spectrum, Balboa Island, So Coast Repertory, Segerstrom Center and So. Coast Plaza.
They do charge for parking, but unfortunately, it's standard these days.

The first time I visited the Fairmont I stayed there with my wife and we got to try out the spa. The service was incredible from valet to check-in and the spa was good also. Couldn't beat the price for the location and service. My most recent visit was to take advantage of their airport parking utilizing the onsite valet. The parking was arranged through a 3rd party provider, but same great Fairmont experience remained and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone flying out of John Wayne Airport or looking to shop/eat at the nearby Fashion Island.

This is a beautiful hotel! Staff is very friendly, food was better than most hotels (eggs were a little runny) and the rooms are gorgeous. The oatmeal from the banquet menu comes with a delicious amount of toppings. The room amenities are fantastic as well! From the fantastic smelling soap to the in-room fridge and Keurig. Would definitely recommend.

Was there for a wedding reception. Valet service was awesome - needed to get my son's stroller and they gladly offered to bring it to me. Didn't stay in the hotel so I can rate the rooms, but the reception hall was really nice. Would recommend to others.

I highly recommend dining in the bar/restaurant. My mother and I just had a lovely and delicious dinner there! Our server Piper was amazing and made the experience that much better. Very happy!

Overall, a wonderful experience. The staff was kind, efficient, and attentive. Room service was a little pricey, but the food was great! We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended it by another day. When we went down to sign the paperwork for the additional day, the front desk attendant even gave my two-year-old daughter a pair of Fairmont branded sunglasses which she loved and refused to take off! We would definitely recommend others stay here and will likely stay here again ourselves.
