  I've been going here for over a decade, and it seems like nothing ever changes. Their skate rentals kinda smell, and the rink is fairly old, small, and rundown but I have made so many memories here that I don't mind. The food is eh quality, but this is the only ice rink close by that is open all year round. It may be rundown, but it is a rundown-nostalgic treasure.

  Pretty old school place but I really appreciate having an ice rink with skating classes in the neighborhood. Food there is mediocre but I didn't expect anything more -- and no one is going there for the food! :) Could use an upgrade but it has its charms.

  Just your friendly neighborhood ice rink. Many good memories here. Staff is good at what they do but Todd is your main man to see when inquiring about the rinkfrom the history of the rink to the latest skate trend.
  
  The ice is good and hard. No bumps on straightaways or built up ice up the wall. Music is loud enough to hear but not too much where you can talk to friends.
  
  Enjoy the cool ice time and beat this summer heat!

  I have been here a few times. Ice in bad shape and generally crowded. Last visit I had an unfortunate experience with an older employee. I had been skating for an hour with rental skates and upon re-entering the ice he was checking for bracelets that were supposed to be handed out at the front door, which i and several others didn't get. He made his employee's mistake my problem by forcing me to go back to the front to get a bracelet. Very unprofessional. Will avoid going back.

  Old rink with very bad ice! Very hostile coaching/management environment. Consistent infighting among the coaching staff due to management interference etc Do yourself a favor and do not use a private rink.

  Never skate at this disgusting organization. 99% of the time you aren't able to skate because they have stupid lessons lasting all day that they do not inform you of. I'm so incredibly outraged by the fairfax ice arena. Oh yeah, and their ice is terrible! Very rough and difficult to skate on. If you ever even consider skating here, I seriously recommend reevaluating your entire life. Oh yeah, and once when I ordered a pizza, they forgot to put the cheese on it and when I asked them about it, they looked at us like it was our fault and we were crazy. Skating on a half frozen pond would be a better experience.
