Gingerbread house making class for kids, included kids lunch. Very helpful staff, food is relatively inexpensive. Their self assemble Furniture is usually easy and straightforward to assemble. If it's made out of solid wood, it's a good deal. I would still stay away from any pressed wood material furniture.

This store is addictive. I love their everything. Lol. If you’ve never been here before, be prepared to walk through the entire store which is slightly like a maze - just keep on the main path to find your way eventually to the checkout. Bring your own bags to pack up your purchases or buy their bag (which is ginormous) for like $1/$2. I love that they have a place for people to pull up and load their heavy or large purchases. There is so much at this store that you literally will find something to use or that you didn’t know you needed - and the prices don’t break the bank. The only real complaint I have is that there is no way to buy more hardware. We forgot to take out some anchors and such for a mirrored shelf unit when we moved, and the thing is so front heavy that even tilted at a 45 degree angle, if you opened the door it would lift off the wall. Not safe to have around a kid. I could find nothing. An employee said to ask customer service but it was closing time on a very busy day (but isn’t it always busy around that time?) so I didn’t go. We had a friend who did some crazy tricks with butterfly clamps and huge holes in the wall to end up holding up the shelf unit. but it would have been easier if we could have just purchased extra near where the products are displayed or ready for picking up.

Not afraid to admit that we are huge IKEA fans. They have some quality furniture and home accessories that not only have the modern, minimalist look that we are going for in our home but at a very decent price point at that. We sometimes have lunch here and at $15 for 3 people it is hard to beat, especially when the food itself is actually quite healthy, tasty, and is generous portion-wise. Here's a protip: on Tuesdays kids eat for free with any order above $4, AND since it is during the weekday, it is almost a ghost town: there's enough shoppers for it to not feel awkward being the only ones in the store and empty enough to shop in peace without rubbing shoulders and playing bumper carts with strangers. If you happen to shop here during the weekend, be prepared to deal with droves of people and long checkout lines. One complaint is that their main escalator seems to always be out-of-order when we visit, which is unacceptable given that other than the stairs there's only one set of elevators going up to the food court and showroom area. Also, we never had any staff members approach us if we need any assistance. In fact, it seems that they try to avoid any eye contact and never once were we greeted or acknowledged. There were a few instances where we needed help and no one was around to ask, we had to go into the next section to get assistance. Otherwise, it really comes down to the goods we bring home and ultimately we are satisfied with that.

The nice thing about IKEA is the option of child care. The garage conveniently leads to the lower level entrance. All you need for your home is there, neatly and clearly displayed. You can have your morning coffee or even breakfast before you start touring the place. With your IKEA membership card you can get your coffee for free. After touring the place for a few hours (you do need to wear comfortable shoes) you can have a nice lunch at amazingly low-cost meals yet very delicious. There is also kid's meal options.
All pieces of furniture can be assembled easily with some patience, yet if you are not patient, IKEA does offer assembly help but it is not cheap.
The wood furniture is not the best but the variety of sizes and colors and the functionality of the furniture pieces are all worth it.

IKEA is one of my favorite places to visit, even if I don't need more furniture. The restaurant creates an experience of shopping and food unique to IKEA. The food is fantastic, and at the food section near checkout you might even find your favorites! The actual furniture is affordable and good quality, and shopping for it is actually kind of fun. If you have never been to an IKEA before, you should definitely visit sometime!

I would've given it 5 stars but only thing is that you have to walk through the whole store to finally find what you need. Other than that this store has a great variety and numerous selections to choose from for any items needed at home.

The usual interesting and novel designs expected from IKEA at the Woodbridge, VA store but the customer service and staffing there is very poor on a weekday afternoon. Only four of many (14?) checkouts open and 6-7 filled carts lined up at each. Only one person at the furniture pickup desk, with clearly too many tasks to attend to. No staff in the loading area despite returning inside to ask that someone be called to help load a heavy table. IKEA does not seem to care if they waste your time.

Poor management and customer service. We were attracted by a new product on display at the entrance. Apparently they were promoting it since there were six in total on display. Then we saw it again at the home organizing area and decided to buy it. However when we went to the inventory it was sold out. We were told that we could buy one on display if we asked the person in charge of the home organizing area. We went back and asked a guy to contact Nancy in charge. She did not show up until 40 minutes later to tell us they did not sell it. Couldn't she or Elvin (her supervisor) just tell us from the very beginning? I am sorry to say I have to write this down.

This store has very nice and contemporary products. The staffs are very helpful and attentive. The food counter can have very long lines during weekend and holidays, so plan out accordingly. I hope they will add more human resources for the cafeteria during those busy days & hours to speed things up. It took us an hour waiting in line and getting food. Food quality is good though.

Closest IKEA to the Hampton Roads area. Lots of parking. The meatballs are always a treat. They no longer have branded sodas in the cafeteria so the "cola" tastes a bit off. Very large selection of housewares. Nothing like this in the stores near usyet. Good deals on just about everything. Over the years we've bought a lot of furniture and have been pleased with 99% of what we've bought.

A lot of home furnishings & supplies at inexpensive prices. Huge, 2 level store, upgraded warehouse style. Nice food court, inexpensive for what you get, cafeteria-style. Parking around building. Separate from Potomac Mills (across the street). Tragic on Rt 95 is a consideration.

Love IKEA and all of their products for the most part. I did buy some silverware there that started rusting after the first wash, so just be aware that it is cheap stuff but still quality. You just have to take care of it and know what you are getting.

Clean and well lit, with a unique layout for a furniture store that makes sense on how its organized. Prices are good to fair. If you are just browsing though it only takes about 30 minutes to walk through, if you go in with a plan to buy set aside more time. The counter service restaurant is also a good idea with a store like this even if the Meatballs are a tad overrated in my book.

Today was my first time buying from (or even being at) an IKEA store and it was great! I was able to get a queen sized bed frame with the necessary attachments, two nightstand tables, and a large dresser all for under $285! Also, I found everything online first, saved it to my list? and emailed it to myself so when I went shopping, it told me exactly what aisle and section of the aisle to look in to get my products. Fast, easy, and a great first experience! I'll definitely choose IKEA again!

First of all they have really good prices! Secondly, they have really neat stuff that you don't easy find elsewhere. If you are into home design and practicality then this is a store you want to see. My wife and I went in today to plan our kitchen. We left after buying all our new kitchen cabinets and lighting for our hallway, dining room and kitchen.
