This place is great and they are quick and they always do a great job. I drive about 25 minutes to get to this place if that tells you anything.
One of the worst eyebrow experiences I've ever had. My browser were so uneven and it hurt so bad I cried I've never cried getting my browser done until now.
I have been getting my eyebrows done here for almost a year. I was leery of going back to threading because of pervious bad experiences, but I decided to give it about her try. I am so glad I did! My eyebrows always look perfect!
I walked into the empty salon and waited a few minutes for someone to come to the desk. The lady asked if I had been there before and I told her no. She then asked me for my ID which was unusual. I asked her why she needed my ID and she said so I can have your information. I told her that that did not make me very comfortable and I would rather just tell her the information she needed. She told me that It is the law that I have to give her my ID before she could thread my eyebrows. I told her I was a licensed cosmetologist and have had my eyebrows threaded for years and have never heArd of that. She said" I don't know that's our policy". The exchange seemed very questionable at best so I left without receiving any services. I have never had to give anyone my ID for eyebrow, nail or hair services before. Maybe this is the reason there wasn't a soul in their shop
I got a hair cut, then I got my hair shampooed. After that I got this really cool hair style. I Loved It!!
I am in town visiting and stopped by here for an eyebrow threading and gel manicure. The eyebrow threading experience was great. Zero complaints and the only reason for the two stars. Had I gone in for only a gel manicure they would have received one star. Conversely had I only gone in for eyebrows, I probably would have given 5. I've provided photos of my "manicure" directly after leaving the salon as evidence of my review.
1) As another reviewer stated the lady basically just buffed my nails and then attempted to file my nails. And by attempt I mean she looked nervous trying to shape them. She didn't ask me what shape I wanted or anything. She just filed them away. My nails were a decent length when I went in but now they are all fairly short. (In fairness, my nails are pretty thin).
2) Nothing was done to my cuticles. They were not soaked, they were not pushed back, they were not trimmed.
3) The file they used to buff/file my nails definitely looked used with very visible nail powder on it.
4) Once the lady finished "buffing" my nails and haphazardly shaping my nails another lady took over. I was grateful for this as she did fix the previous lady's oversights. However, she buffed my nails again and then proceeded to put the first layer of the gel manicure on. (No I was not instructed to wash the dust off, she just painted right over it) From the looks of it it looked like the second lady was training/teaching the first lady what to do.this made me nervousaren't manicurist supposed to be licensed? Which made me more nervous about cleanliness of the place.
5) The paint job was by far the worst I've ever gotten. You'll be able to see in the photos. No attempt at really cleaning up the paint that got on my skin. She did try to clean it off with her nail, but didn't follow up with paint remover. She also painted right ontop of my my cuticles. So I'm not confident that this manicure will last at all.
Did I say anything during my visit about my ongoing concerns, no, because I feel incredibly awkward correcting a professional at their job. Did I pay the $30 for it, yes. Will I be back, absolutely not. While they were nice, if they are going to offer a nail salon service, they should have staff on hand to provide the expected service. Or make it ridiculously cheap.
They are quick, mostly friendly staff
I got my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. The lady was nice, always made sure I was okay if I flinched, and it hurt less than anywhere I've gotten it done. I will be returning! :)
Everyone here is really nice. Went here for a manicure, but all she did was buff my nail beds paint my nails. It was very sloppy. The file was obviously reused and not clean (white filings from someone else obviously still on it). I had to pick all the paint off my cuticles the next day. It is my understanding that that this same person also does permanent make-up there. If her tattooing is anything like her painting skills, I wouldn't want to pay $300-$400 for sloppy permanent eyebrows/eyeliner.
STAY AWAY *CROOKS*
I purchased a package including 2 microdermabrasion and 1 facial. I was told that this package was good for a year (else I wouldn't have purchased it) I used one microdermabrasion shortly after and then life happened. I called (10 months after I purchased the package) to schedule my appointment and was told that I already used my facial and 1 microdermabrasion. I advised that I only had 1 microdermabrasion. I was given the # to the manager. I called the manager and she said I did indeed have my facial because it wouldn't be in the system had I not had it and what she would have to do is review video footage from that day IF it mattered but it didn't because my package was expired. I explained to her as I did the other girl that I had to cancel my appointment, that I had called them and let them know this. I asked her to honor the package as I had already paid for it and she refused despite me being TOLD by their employee it was good for 1 year. She said their advertising clearly states 90 days. Their advertising was a hand written 8x11 piece of paper behind the counter. I asked for a partial reimbursement (since I already used one of the services) She refused stating that it wasn't their fault I didn't come in and use it within 90 days. I agree with that statement IF I had been told the package was good for 90 days. It was not I was advised 12 months from the date of purchase. Needless to say I WILL NEVER go back there.
