I bought a new Volkswagen off Theo and had the best customer service experience. I will recommend this dealership to everyone.
Loving our car still. We take advantage of the free car wash there every saturday. Glad that Taylor pointed it out. He is such a kind young man.
For a real and honest repair do not take your BMW to BMW of Dayton. On Thanksgiving day as we were traveling to Kentucky from Detroit, Michigan our car computer began to say alternator fault. We thought OMG what is this. We were able to pull over and call AAA. Some wonderful people came within 15 minutes. They loaded the car on their truck, took us to rent a car, dropped our car off at BMW of Dayton and that's where the problems began. After many calls we finally got someone named Troy who said he would let us know about repairs ASAP. Well he did. Troy told us we needed a new alternator and it would cost $2,100. We had the car picked up and brought back to Detroit where it was repaired at once for $500. BMW of Dayton, I don't think so. You should be in the HALL OF SHAME!
Mike Wilcox was awesome at helping me get the car I was looking for. Thanks for all of your hard work. And staying extra!
I found the 2014 Chevy Malibu LS online & sent an email to Evans Motorworks. The same day I received a call from Mike Wilcox. He was very pleasant & we scheduled a test drive for the next day. I really liked the car & it was exactly what my son requested. We agreed on a price and I was satisfied.
Just made my first new car purchase.. even though I was unsure and back and forth Mike Wilcox worked me till I found a vehicle that I liked and was financially comfortable with! Would definitely be willing to work with him again
This has to be the best car buying experience I have had. Mr. Michael Wilcox was not only professional but listened and understood my situation. The entire Evans Motorworks Team was great to work with and I plan on getting my next vehicle purchase with them just for the customer service they provided!
Hey everyone, if you want to have a wonderful experience, buy your next car from Mike Wilcox. I was very indecisive about what i really wanted and Mike worked with me over a month by text back and forth, i thought soon he would just go away like so many other dealers, but he didn't. His patience and kindness was unbelievable! I was going to wait another 3 months before purchasing a vehicle, but because of Mikes professionalism and dedication to making me happy, i decided to go and pay Mike a visit. Guess what? I walked out with a car! Ladies and guys, if you are thinking about buying a car, Mikes your man! He goes beyond to assure you are happy and that you make the right choice for your specific need! Way to sell a car Mike! You make the process easy! Thanks much! Blessings!
I'll start by saying that my salesman Michael Wilcox was great. However, the dealership is not.
Evans unfortunately had the car I wanted in stock. Being that it's a hard to find car locally I regretfully overpaid them for the car.
I was initially happy with finding and purchasing the car I had been searching for until two days later when the coolant expansion tank burst and leaked coolant everywhere. "No problem" I thought. Michael told me that if it broke down in the first few days of ownership they'd take care of me so I sent him a picture of the failed part. After days of waiting for him to get approval to get me a new tank I bought one elsewhere. A whopping $40 part. At that point it had been broken down longer than I owned it.
Fast forward. Now I'm at my first oil change. Jack the car up on the drivers side and transmission fluid pours out of the passengers side axle seal. This car was never inspected as they claimed. I'm not going to bother to contact them about this since they wouldn't replace a $40 part within 2 days of ownership. Instead I'll share my experience.
I had a very poor experience leasing a 5-series BMW from this dealership.
From the beginning I had concerns about the mileage limit and was told repeatedly not to worry about it and the dealership would take care of me. I was promised good offers would be there in the future to turn in my car early and lease something different after a year or two if I was running over. The promises were meaningless and the offers never came no matter how often I inquired. Even at the end of the lease the dealer told me BMW Financial Services would help with the overage but that wasn't true either.
I had multiple quality/service issues with the vehicle I leased. The car had a computer issue early on which took some time to resolve. Later on a routine service visit I was told the car had a wheel bearing that needed replaced. The service team promised to order the part and call me to set up a service visit. I was never called but after a couple of weeks started stopping by to see what was going on. I was told multiple times they were still waiting for the part. Eventually after many weeks and visits I became frustrated and finally someone actually investigated to see why they didn't have the part and they figured out no one had actually ordered it. Finally the part was ordered and a service visit set up to replace the bearing. While waiting for the bearing the noise level while driving the car had become very loud. A day after I dropped the car off for repair, I was called and told the original bearing was fine and the real issue was a manufacturer's defect with the tires and they would be replaced. Later that day I went in to get the car but found out the tires would not be covered under the maintenance/warranty plan for the vehicle and that I needed to pay. I was further told the original tires were safe with lots of tread but very noisy because of cupping do to a manufacturer's issue and they recommended that I continue driving the car and put up with the noise instead of spending a lot of money. They had rotated the tires and to add insult to injury I was handed a bill to pay for the tire rotation. In the end I think I visited the dealership 10 times over months to attempt to resolve this issue that was never fixed. In my frustration, I called and emailed the service manager many times and never received a single reply.
After this tire/wheel bearing problem, I was promised multiple times from multiple people that I wouldn't be expected to pay for tires at the end of the lease. As was the case with the mileage, this was just another empty promise. At the end of the lease I was stuck with both the mileage and charged for the tire issue.
There was never even any apology for any of this from the dealership.
An update:
After my posting of this review, the general manager did contact me and apologize for the service fiasco. I'm not sure why it took so long and why he never returned any of my original requests by email and phone for help.
In the end, this dealership never took any financial responsibility for the mess it created.
Love my Beetle bug that I purchased @ Evans Motorworks. Mike Wilcox help me find the car of my dreams VW Beetle. Mike is very good at his job and knows how to talk to people. He is not pushy and listens to the customer in finding what they are looking for. I would highly recommend Mike to a friend or family member in finding a car. Thank you again Mike for your hard work and your customer service.
😊
Nice experience with the purchase. Service department representatives are friendly and helpful and follow up with you regularly. One weekend the car wash team was not that quick, sat for over 75 minutes and finally had to take my car and leave due to an appointment. The following week was much faster, 20 minutes total time.
Michael Wilcox is without a doubt one of the best salespeople that I have personally worked with. He helped facilitate the out of state purchase of my 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Fender Edition. I am deeply pleased with my experience during contact, throughout the purchase process, and the ongoing support that I am receiving from Mike, as well as his team, and financier, Scott Evans. All involved have been an absolute pleasure to work with. They are conversational and kind, and are not pushy or aggressive like most selling experiences I have had in the past. Mike has been extremely helpful in navigating the uncertain terrain of purchasing a vehicle out of state and Scott was able to get me one of the best finance rates I could possibly hope for. I would absolutely purchase from this company over and over again. Thanks so much for such a great experience!
