Super cumfee seating. they have like, lazy boy recliners in firts apx. 5 rows
Marginal theatre. Seats do recline but you still fight over the armrest. No ticket counter up front, you have to get your ticket at the concessions counter. I went to see a 3d movie, assuming glasses would be available by the theater doors. Nope, I had to walk back to the counter and request glasses from the same guy that gave me my tickets to a 3d movie. Also be mindful of the menu prices. $26 for a pretzel and coke.
I love going there since the seats are so comfortable and workers are great. I suggest it. I go from Port Orange to New Smyrna just to go there when I am 5 min from the Pavillion. It's worth it.
Patti is pretty dense not to know that, after 4 times, you should know where the line starts and ends. There's a paid line and a free line, she probably went to the very side and confused the employees. I go here every week and it's really self explanatory. I like the seats here and the kids are nice. It's close to home and everyone knows that movie prices have always been expensive.
Love this place! Well worth the day trip. Unique food & comfortable lounging chairs.
This place is awesome if u wanna c a movie come here i just saw the lego ninjago movie and it was epic
Kids behind the counter never know what's going on. The registers work only HALF the time. Managers are completely unprofessional. The big man in red stood up front talking to a cashier my entire time there. Not pleased.
Reasonable prices - well worth the drive from Daytona Beach, FL if you're on a budget. Free refills with self-service COKE drink machines! Slushies available as well -EXCELLENT! Perfect rainy weather activity!
This theatre was terrific! We were so impressed, the seats reclined and were super comfy. The staff was polite and theatre clean. We would definitely come back
Popcorn is good. My only complaint is that since the kids behind the stand never ask for our phone number, no more free stuff. So my friend and I go to Regal in Port Orange. They give free stuff. Bad way for new management to start out.
Really liked it when Carmike renovated and reopened it. However, since AMC has taken over, it's left a lot to be desired. For one, the theaters themselves are much dirtier than they were before - it seems they are more concerned with having 2 workers posted at the podiums to direct you to your theater (it's not really that tough to find where I'm going guys) instead of using them to clean the theaters. Also, the bathroom on the main side has had 1 of its 2 urinals out of commission for at least 3 months. Not even gonna try to fix it? They also changed something with the popcorn because it doesn't taste nearly as fresh as it did with Carmike (and this wasn't just one bucket, but the last 3 or 4 times I've been there it has been subpar). Just overall very disappointed in the transition. Carmike was really good - this AMC is now very average and I've found myself going back to Regal on a regular basis.
Love the seats up front that recline! Very clean, and a really nice place.
Very pleased with the remodel. They did a great job. It was in great need of it. I was happy with my overall experience all the times I have been there.
This theatre is testing the old Carmike Cinemas specials like $5.00 movies on Tuesday. Glad to have an AMC near me again! Very clean and efficient!
