It is probably the biggest and nicest hotel in Daytona. We didn't stay there but we hung out there a lot because it is right by the board walk. Very clean and modern

Nice place overall. Clean but kind of old building. The outside pool is not as warm as the inside one You would think it was to enjoy swimming outside even in December when the ocean is colder vs other months Still a lot of under construction areas due to the recent hurricane hit. We couldn't acces the hot tubs area for example.
Publix grocery store and Walgreen pharmacy literally 1 min away. And ABC spirit and wine store walking distance as well. The beach is nice and you'll enjoy walking around. Take a hoodie or bandana with you for extra protection from blistering sun and winds.response / report this review -

Everything was great, the food we ordered at the bar and the breakfast was really good, tiki bar was pretty highly priced but the bar tender tried to make it up to us with heavy pours. we had 4 people in our room and when we first got to our room we had a single queen size bed. however we didn't have to complain, I literally said 3 words and they swapped and upgraded us no problem. The biggest issue we had was we were there for a conference and we all paid $12.95 for a boxed sandwich lunch HOWEVER, the hotel charged and extra $4 EACH for "gratuity". we stood in a line and they crossed our names off a list; seriously? And the lunches probably only cost $4 to out together but it didn't taste bad so lesson learned, never get the boxes lunch for a meeting of 100 people there. otherwise we will be back even if just for a weekend away.

Reasonably priced and a great value for the money. Four pools and a spa plus the ocean. How does it get better than that? They also have a poolside tiki bar. Would recommend checking out this hotel but keep in mind they are doing some renovations.

Good location away from boardwalk. Professional staff. Nice hotel rooms. Great pools and pool bar. Condos need external update. Great beach. Would probably pay more to stay someplace nicer.

Bad for a four star. The building is in need of desperate repair after the Hurricane. Inside my almost $300.00 per night, non of the drawers would hold to put our staff in. The carpet should be replaced with ceramic tile. The bathroom is too small. Carpet smells like mold. All the furniture needs to be updated. The Front Desk staff needs to smile and say thanks at least, with perhaps an invitation to return after checking out. The Hotel should offer continental breakfast included for that price. Additionally, the rooms we get when checking in, don't look at all like the ones we see in the website; this is something all guests say as I asked some about it. I understand that most rooms are privately owned, however, owners should have standards to keep the rooms looking the same way, or, the Hotel should lower the price per night to compensate for the shock you get when you get in your room.

The room and view was excellent, the price was reasonable. We had a full kitchen setup, a large fridge, and a sink to wash dishes. The bathroom was huge and roomy. It was really clean upon arrival. It was right on the beach and close to strip malls and shopping centers. Great location on Ormund beach.

Let me start with we would have given 4 stars everything else was great and you can't beat staying right on the beach and the view from the room so we would try here again when the major issue is resolved. The elevators were down during our stay and had to be manually operated by an employee. You would call front desk, they would walkie talkie an employee who would manually operate the elevator to your floor, luckily we were only on the 3rd floor and took the stairs for down trips. We had 6 people in our room and every day housekeeping would take 6 dirty towels and only leave 4. Again a call to the desk and same employees operating the elevators would bring towels.

The resort is nice and reasonably priced. The beach is right next to the resort which is really great no Drive, literally step outside the hotel and there is the beach and the pool. The only thing I don't really like about the resort is the cleanliness of it. It's a fairly clean place but I feel like it could be a lot cleaner in my opinion. The cleaning crew wasn't the best either a lot of times they forgot to restock the bathroom.

Great place! Family and I went for a wedding. I hadn't seen the ocean in years. I was happy with the resort in general. The bathroom could've had a bit more upkeep. The commode was old and outdated. Other than that we had a wonderful experience.

Got a great deal here for memorial day week. I booked a sunset view room with a single king bed and to my surprise I got a very nice room with a decent kitchen in it that I wasn't expecting. My room also had pots, pans dinnerware and glasses, full coffee maker and toaster oven. Staff is friendly and has a gated parking garage which is nice. Laundry and ice machine on each floor. Lobby has an indoor pool, gym and small restaurant and the outside looked like it had 2 pools and a fountain for the kids. Also a nice bar outside. Direct beach access of course with a door key locked gate which was also nice. All in all a very nice place at an extremely good rate. ( Got a one day deal of 25% off, so $85 a night).

Before our stay at the resort. We bought a three day stay for a nice and clean room. As soon as we arrive there from North Carolina, they placed us in a dirty, run down room. The beds looked worn out. Old, half eaten food from other the residents was still in there and a bad aroma came from the bathrooms which had never been clean. We confronted the manager about the specific room we paid for. He had the nerve to lie to us saying that we should have reserved the room and that we never called them. He had us continue our stay in that lousy room with a noisy couple next door making inappropriate noises with my parents and younger brothers near by hearing it.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. Pay for a better room at a different hotel. These morons are not worth booking for your vacation.response / report this review
