Laughably mis-managed. I showed up at 7pm on a Thursday and, with no heads-up before we sat down and ordered drinks, they were out of EVERY SINGLE FISH except generic tuna and salmon. 90% of the sushi menu off limits unless you're looking for cream cheese-wrapped cucumber. Things happen, but you can at least tell me before I get $20 deep into your joke of a noodle parlor.

VERY loud. Sushi is okay but entirely overpriced. I want phenomenal sushi if I'm paying $17 per roll!

Let me just get straight to the pro/con list

    Cons:
    Inattentive servers
    An apparent lack of silverware
    Overpriced cocktails
    Looooooong waits once seated.

    Pros:
    The space itself is nice

    Summary of visit:

Arrived for reservations at 7:45. Our server first came to our table a little after 8. Our drinks took another 20 minutes.

When we got our entrees we had no silverware and sat staring at our food for five minutes while our server stopped to talk with her coworkers. When the dessert came out we again had no silverware. This time my friend just went to the bar and got some silverware instead of waiting for our waitress who was chatting again with her friends.

By the time we left it was past 10; more than two hours after we got there. This place sucks. Go somewhere else with trained servers. Side note: the table next to us walked out after sitting at their table for 45 minutes or so and not even receiving their drinks.

The food was great and the presentation was lovely. I love that we were able to eat outside. The restaurant's interior decorations were awesome! On this warm sunny day we paired our food with Prosecco from Italy and had the chicken spring rolls as an appetizer!

Waited almost 20-30 minutes on Beef Dim Sum which only takes about 8-10 minutes to make. 25 minutes later, it not only still wasn't there, but after being told twice that it would be out in a few minutes, a manager came and told us the ticket wasn't even received, which means it wasn't even started, which means my boyfriend and I (people who have worked in the culinary business for 4+ years) were lied to, and instead of our server checking after five minutes and just admitting, just kept it pushing around his empty section.

We then told the woman that we needed to leave, mainly due to being tired from just getting off work and the fact that we felt our time was wasted and wasn't valued. I personally feel as though the woman should have tried some kind of recovery method, it felt like it didn't matter either way whether we left or not. The man sitting at the table next to us, also didn't seem pleased. The man serving us also didn't seem genuine with his customer service which made us uncomfortable.

Might give it another shot at a better time but not sure.

Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Drinks on the other hand are way overpriced - $18 for a double Jack?? It's cheaper at my hotel! Despite that, service was fast and the food was wonderful.

Enso is a staple of my trip to Charlotte. I travel here often for work and I never leave without having the amazing sea bass at this restaurant. There have been a few times I have eaten it every night for dinner, even on a week long trip. If you have never tried it, you simply must. I have eaten sea bass at dozens of other restaraunts trying to find one even remotely close, let alone equal, and none have even been in contention.

The sushi here is ok. I love the fire roll but I agree with a previous reviewer that there is simply too much fried and doused in mayo. There is also too much cream cheese. The good news is they will gladly customize any roll for you, in any way you want.

I have always had great service here and it remains one of my favorite places to eat while in Charlotte.

Although the food was good, the ambiance wasn't. We had to shout to converse with each other. Why a DJ at dinner?
