Embassy Suites was great as always. Breakfast buffet is the same good quality as every Embassy Suites. Only reason for one less star is the Starbucks was still under construction and so they used the lobby bar to serve Starbucks, and that wasn't really at the level of efficiency or as welcoming as you'd normally expect.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

Flew into Tampa for a concert so chose to stay at this Embassy Suites because of the close proximity to the arena. SO GLAD WE DID! From the valet, bellhop, to the front desk personnel this Embassy did it right. Amazing location with breathtaking views. Beds exceptionally comfortable. Highly recommend to stay on 20th floor. (ROOM 2021 has best views ever) Breakfast delicious. Thanks Hilton Embassy Suites Downtown for the VIP treatment.

Fantastic Service! Love this property. I'm here for the Diamond Crown Experience and loving every minute of it so far. Job well done. Staff has been very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend holding a private event here.

The hotel itself is quite beautiful. Pros: -The rooms are very large. -Complimentary breakfast includes omelettes, breakfast buffet, and more. -Beds are comfortable. - Shower is great. - Nice views Cons: - $28 per day mandatory valet parking is the only option for parking. - Rooms are somewhat dirty. Found pills under bathroom vanity. - Elevators are very slow and generally small. They fill very quickly. - Very noisy halls with other drunk guests. Overall, the hotel is nice, but I'd probably stay somewhere else on a return visit.

The hotel is within walking distance of cruise terminal 3. If you have lots of bags, a shuttle will take you to the terminal for $5 a person (cash). There isn't very much to eat around if you get in late. Though Hat trick, a local sports bar, has decent bar food. Otherwise, standard accommodations. Easy check-in, but there is only one front desk person after 10pm.

I had the choice of staying at the Embassy Suites or the Marriott for a conference I was attending in Tampa. I selected the Embassy Suites while my colleagues stayed at the Marriott. I made the better choice. Complimentary breakfast was to die for. I enjoyed a hearty breakfast provided by the hotel, while my colleagues had to purchase theirs at $16. The two hour complimentary cocktail time was a very unexpected treat as well. Once again I made my colleagues jealous. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to those visiting downtown Tampa. Thanks for a very wonderful stay and for all the extra treats. 5+ Stars.

I've been to many Embassy Suites but I'll say this one is unique in beauty!! As soon as you walk in, you see how beautiful and up-scale it is! Great foyer. Great views. Several restaurants on site. Managers reception was very well organized and crowds controlled. On top of all of this, is a short walk to the Amelia Arena & the Florida Aquarium!! We would def be back!!

I got a lower floor suite. One of my windows faces a wall but the other overlooks the convention center. The room itself is spacious and comfortable. The staff is very polite. The complimentary breakfast is delicious (Hilton Honors membership helps), and the hotel is very easy to get around. Very good experience.

Good location. Rooms are in good shape and large. They do have some have minor annoyances to them. Like the mirror being mounted too low so that faucet wouldn't go all the way back. Happy hour downstairs is nice. The gym is modern but a bit small and needs more equipment. Breakfast is pretty standard and nothing that will surprise. 4 elevators that are generally quick except at peak traffic times. The price feels just a bit high all things considered but that's driven by the location.

This is a nice hotel but first they booked us the wrong room and had to put is in a handicap room No biggie. Then, when we came back from the concert we were locked out of our room. Security came and their key didn't work either. Still sitting here locked out of our room. It's almost 1:00 AM! We paid over $500 for this room. I've never been more unsatisfied. If I could give zero stars I would.

While this hotel is highly convenient to the convention center, there are many items that need improvement. 1. The breakfast buffet is decent, but very limited. 2. I reported a maintenance issue (the door handle was separating from the door itself) that was not repaired. 3. The restaurant: HIGHLY overpriced for food that is mediocre at best. OK, it's a hotel restaurant which comes at a premium due to the convenience, but that's no excuse to use yellow cheese sauce instead of cheese or to use fatty meat. There are plenty of restaurants that deliver for 1/2 the price, use them.

The Marriott is directly across the courtyard and about 50 feet further from the doors to the convention center. Try them instead.

What kept them from getting 1 star? THE STAFF is VERY friendly!
