One of the best hidden gems in Detroit! This place never gets old. The food is amazing (Mexican and Italian), and the staff are so wonderful. Free parking is available behind the restaurant and it is secured by a parking attendant.

The food was so good! I enjoyed the options of Italian and Mexican together. The Caprese was so good and I recommend the fish tacos. Their classic margaritas are the best I've had in a while. Great service and friendly staff. I will definitely be returning.

Very good’ and truly authentic food! The mole’ sauce was amazing and made in house. Give it a try.
There is also a parking lot in the back for customers that’s fenced in. Since it is in a rough part of town I advise using the provided parking lot if available.response / report this review -

The food was very good, quiet enough that the 6 of us could hold on a conversation, but not too quiet, actually seemed quite busy. We had reservations. Not sure if they are always necessary but they take reservations and it worked out great for us, so I would recommend doing it just to be safe

Atmosphere is amazing. Wait staff is amazing. Food and drinks are amazing. I have been twice, can not wait to go back and try another dish.

I come from Long Beach and I decided to come to Detroit for the weekend to see my family and I end up coming here to try the food. I had better I can't complain the food here in Detroit isn't that good at all. When I order some food the tacos where a little cool and my mother ordered a chicken dinner she didn't like it. I heard that other cities in Michigan have better Italian food I may end up checking those out before I go back to California. The staffing needs to step there game up because it seems like they don't care about there customers.

This was my first time going to this restaurant. And I tell you what, I was impressed. Very cozy place for dinner. The atmosphere was really nice., the service was very friendly and the food was very good. If you go, I recommend sitting on the patio. It's well worth it.

Excellent food and a nice atmosphere. They offer a unique menu of Mexican and Italian cuisine. Note that it is not a fusion but separate menus, both of which are excellent.
The neighborhood is a bit rough. There is a parking lot and entrance behind the building - be sure to look for the sign (you can see the sign as in the side of the building as you approach from Michigan Avenue).response / report this review -

I came with a party of 36 people. The food was outstanding! The cocktails were delightful too, and I reccommend the Petalo de Rosa signature marg with rose petal syrup and muddled cucumber. Only negative was that they seemed to be out of every liquor shot we ordered, even though cocktails that we ordered were suppossed to contain those liquors.. I suspect that they used well-liquor for our large party.

the food here is exquisite. the veal saltimbocca is to die for. great atmosphere. Next time I'm back in Detroit, I'm coming straight here. Last time I totally forgot because I had my mind set on Duly'd down the road but like I said, next time I'm in the D, I'm staying downtown and Ubering it to this place and I'll have my share of sangria.

Expensive? Yes. But 100% worth it.
We came here before a DSO concert and there were many people around for graduation dinners, so it's a nice place.
The food though, wow, was awesome.The mole', lasagna, and gnocchi were all amazing. It's so strange going to a place that is equally good in Italian and Mexican food, but boy are they.
You'll get break+butter AND chips+salsa served.what?

My family had an exceptional meal during our first visit here. The wait staff was friendly and prompt. We arrived a bit before the dinner rush and were seated after a 3 minute wait despite having no reservations. I recommend you do call ahead for reservations, because in another 15 to 30 minutes there weren't any tables left. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My steak was very tasty. We decided to sample all three flavors of sorbets and each finished off whichever was our favorite. Each is served inside a frozen piece of its fruit according to flavor. My husband brought his frozen peach home to eat. We walked over from visiting in the neighborhood, but there was ample parking at the rear, where the entrance is. The food is pricey here, but not overpriced. We'll definitely come again in the future.
