Nice rooms. Rooms are well furnished. Beds are comfortable. I do not care for the restaurant. It is OK for breakfast or a single dinner but I am not fond of the menu choices and I feel that the quality of the food is sub par.
Like the hotel for the price. My only complaint is with the hot water limiter on the showers. I got Luke warm at best the whole trip. Rooms were good and parking was ok. Good highway access.
Have always loved the location of this hotel. It has a very welcoming lobby and staff. The bar/restaurant was renovated and has a trendy look and feel. Nice place to stay, but be prepared for the room to need some updating. Not a dealbreaker though.
Very nice, clean hotel and room. Friendly staff. Room was nice excepting the bathroom, where I found peeling wallpaper and upon climbing into the shower found myself looking at the top of the shower head. I am 6'3", so not ridiculously tall or anything. Restaurant has good food and a decent breakfast if you have a voucher. Overall nice place to stay, just a little disappointed by the bathroom and shower.
A lot of times a hotel is just a hotel. It's sometimes the people that make it different. This is one of those places. In particular, the restaurant staff made this a great stay. From the bartender to the wait staff, everyone was fantastic. Special thanks to Marian, Maria, and Ernesto for making a solo business traveler feel very welcome.
The overall hotel was nice. It is located close to the highway, so getting around was easy. Housekeeping calls we're quick ( less than 5 minutes for toiletries). They we're out of cookies pretty soon however.
Make sure if you reserve a room here, that you ask if they have any events that weekend. I stayed here this weekend (10/6/2017-10/8/2017) And had terrible service. First- we were at a yearly conference, so this should have been an opportunity for repeat business. That apparently didn't matter since they had a wedding party this weekend. Saturday night a group of us got together in the bar/restaurant area, and since the wedding was going on, our waitress was not readily available to us. We had to wait a half hour for water. Then, Sunday morning, trying to sleep in after a long weekend, at 9:30 a DJ and PARADE commenced in front of the building, so if you had a room facing the front- you couldn't even hear yourself THINK. We called downstairs, the answer "Oh, it's a wedding". at 9:30am????? Blocking the entire front entrance? We couldn't have left if we wanted to! So by 11am, it seems to have calmed down. That is final check out time after all. Trust me, we WANTED to leave! We go to the front desk, they comp us the $15 pizza we had the night before and all is good, we ask if the road is open, since we had 50 lbs of luggage when we came, now we have 75 since we were at a convention. We wanted to be able to pull our car up to load, like we should be able to. They say it is open.. IS IT? Nope. There are fake elephants (It was an Indian wedding), cars, and who knows what else there and the road is still blocked off to the front entrance, so now I have to drag all these things a quarter mile to my car (with a disabled person). After one of the wedding guests letting me hold the door open for them with my 10 bags, because apparently consideration doesn't apply. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. If you are going to have an event like this- while people are trying to check out and just get out of their way, maybe you should charge them for the additional help so your other guests don't have to suffer! Sounds reasonable to me!
Convenient location and fairly comfortable meeting facilities. Food for conference was good, 7 out of 10. There were occasionally long lines for refreshments (more stations to accomodate larger groups would be helpful). One negative is there are not nearly enough restrooms for the facility size. Large ballroom that can hold hundreds and a ladies room with five stalls=long lines during breaks. There is a Starbucks cafe on site with limited hours (closed by six pm).
Hotel is great, BUT the restaurant has lousy service- good food once you get it. I ordered their flat iron steak, a dinner salad (which is extra) and a baked potato ($5 extra). Waiting for the salad forever, the steak came out (cooked just liked I ordered) (a lot of oil in the bottom of dish where the onions were sitting) but still no salad and no baked potato!!!! I told the waiter this and he shrugged his shoulders and said he would be back. By time I was half done with my steak, which I waited to even start eating, he comes with the salad but FORGOT the oil and vinegar and STILL NO BAKED POTATO. He comes back with the oil & vinegar and tells me it will be 10 more minutes for the baked potato since they had to bake it!!!! Mind you we arrived at the start of dinner time, around 6 p.m. I finally got by baked potato after I finished my steak and half of my salad. I do have to say the manager took my complete dinner off the check but that really did not make up for the poor service.
Excellent place to make home away from home. Friendly service, comfortable and clean beds, hot showers and even warm cookies!! If only my wife would give me warm cookies! Restful stay in a professional atmosphere.
I was here attending a symposium for work. The hotel seemed nice. The food they provided for lunch was excellent. Parking was a bit of a mess though, and the convention center is pretty dated.
Very nice hotel with a great bar/restaurant. Stayed in a double beds room. The room was decent but the bed could be better. They run on the smaller size. So was the bathroom. But overall it was a good stay.
Room was very clean. Bathroom was very small but cleaned well. Bed was not very comfortable and thermostat on wall was not controlling a.c. unit. A.c. unit was controllable only at the unit it's self which was no problem as long as you figure that out. Parking lot had lots of trash and isn't well kept. The fries in the bar had small white hairs and the soprano burger had so much liquid the bun was a soggy mess. Every staff member I interacted with was extremely professional while remaining personable. The receptionist carefully explained everything. The cookie was great after a busy day skipping meals to make it to a stopping point
Rooms are nice and clean when you come in and room service is great. There is a swiming pool, Starbucks corner, restaurant (don't know the name, but fancy), gym and a vending machine on each and ever floor. Garden state exhibit center in a walkable distance and more
I recently toured the facility and was very impressed with the accommodations. The rooms were specious and aesthetically appealing. The conference rooms (although at the time being set up for use) were orderly and very well kept. Our conference host was very knowledgeable, friendly, and addressed our needs. This is definitely a place I would book an event at in the future.
