Con: the a/c was loud when it kicked in and off throughout the night. No more Hilton Honor Gold/diamond lounge. Otherwise, the stay was fine. Pro: Usually when I travel and stay in Johnson City, this is my hotel of choice. Hot water. Good water pressure. Restaurant built in with surprisingly good food.

Stayed here recently while on a work trip. I will say the hotel is a little older, but still a nice place to stay. The front desk lady, Anna, was awesome!!!! Since their fitness center was being relocated I was able to get a pass to a local fitness center. It was a great gesture and the local gym was outstanding! The breakfast is your usual hotel fare, without much fanfare. They do have a honey seed granola that is really good. Hotel parking in front can be difficult, but parking around the sides isn't too terrible. All in all what I would expect from a Hilton chain. Note: I am a Hilton Diamond member, so YMMV.

It was my first time staying at a Double Tree and I must say it was an extremely pleasurable experience. However, there were minor things regarding my stay that kept it from being a phenomenal one.
My only complaints that certain amentities within my room did not work as expected. The closet door was extremely difficult to open, as well as the office chair did not work within my room.
However, the cleanliness of the room, friendliness of the hotel staff, and location of the hotel all the well made up for these short comings. If you are looking for a comfortable stay with a welcoming staff look no further!response / report this review -

This hotel was fantastic. The rooms were clean and the employees were very nice. The breakfast was complimentary and was AMAZING. My 2-year-old daughter loved the pool. My favorite part was that the hotel had free passes to a local fitness center (and this fitness center was AWESOME)!

Amazing hotel. Extremely clean and we'll kept. Smells really good in the whole hotel. They give you fresh hot cookies in a bag at check in!!!!! The restaurant here is good. A bit pricey but normally they are. Small menu. Good drink options. Indoor and outdoor pools. Here on business for 2 weeks and I couldn't be happier.

This hotel is an excellent Hotel. The location is great, it's next to a bunch of restaurants in the local mall. Rooms are nice and cozy. No issues with cleanliness. Rooms or relatively quiet, you could barely hear any noise out in the hallway. The free breakfast buffet is nice, they don't skimp out on the food quality. It was actually really good and the biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've had in a long time.

This was a quiet spacious room. The desk was large affording plenty of room to work. The WiFi was adequate without any disconnects. The only negative was there are not any towel bars.

Overall my stay was ok. The fitness center is so small you really can't be in it with more than one other person. The building is pretty old, but the rooms have been renovated. The bathrooms are nicely updated. There was some peeling wall paper in my room however, which made the experience a little less desirable. The location is super convenient. Hotel staff were very friendly.

DoubleTree by Hilton is a great place. Om in town for work. I totally needed a cookie after my first night and the guy at the front desk gave me two. Staff are amazing. Room is breathtaking. Im very pleased

This is an older hotel located behind the mall. The room was an adequate size with basis amenities. Staff was accommodating when I asked to have my room changed because it was next to the vending area.

We booked this hotel because the website states that they have special beds. We get here and the beds are not the nice special ones, they are fairly uncomfortable. Our first night was not very good. It was New Years Eve, and at around 3:30 some guests (likely drunk) were being very loud in the hallways. When I called the front desk, they said they were already trying to take care of it. They had security come and tell them to knock it off. So today we talked to the front desk and they nit only gave us a new room with the beds they talked about on the website, they comped our night last night and gave us free coupons for breakfast in the morning. We would have been happy with just a new room, but they went above to fix it. Very pleased.
