My friend and I attended this hotel a few weeks past to visit colleges. May I say the sheets were very uncomfortable and service was absolutely terrible! They also mentioned we had a free breakfast but we got soggy eggs and fatty sausage for 30 dollars! We couldn't even find water! Now, this is the part that really brings my rating down all the way to 1 star. My friend needed a towel and we called room service over 3 times after waiting for an hour we lost hope and they never ended up coming. My overall experience at this hotel was unsatisfactory and I will for sure never attend this hotel again and neither should you.
Excellent service, nice and clean. My only complaint would be the hot water in the shower changing temperature every couple of minutes, going from comfortably warm to quite a bit hotter and back. Adjusting for this, the water would drop down to cool and need to be constantly adjusted to maintain a comfortable temperature.
Dropped off a rental car at the airport and used the shuttle to wait for my flight the next day. The shuttle times were slow on Friday night between waiting and traffic, Saturday morning they were very quick. Hotel was clean and the desk was helpful. No restaurant like I expected for a doubletree but they had a to-go cafe with some decent food. Breakfast is not free but was decent. Great views from the top floor corner suite toward Boston. Over all I'd stay there again.
My husband and I arrived early after a red eye flight and were exhausted. Shayla got us a room as soon as possible and we were very grateful. She took very good care of us. Great customer service!
Great staff. Shuttle service is difficult. Took 30 minutes to pick up at airport then took another 45 minutes as we went downtown and waited for another pickup before going to hotel. They can't tell you if the shuttle you sign up for to go to airport will make other stops first.
Good location. Good service from staff. Shuttle to/from airport, cruise terminal, and downtown was good, but times and frequency could have been better. Our room had a squeaky AC unit and toilet that wanted to run frequently. I fixed the toilet and ignored the AC noise.
Very nice hotel for good price. Close to subway within walking distance, so easy access to Boston via subway. Very friendly staff, good beds, not the best but not the worst - you get what you pay for. But the rooms were very clean and maintained. Would stay here again, especially because of easy access to subway
Every day you go down into the lobby, you're greeted with fresh water. The receptionists are helpful and nice. There is also a shuttle that you may take to and from the airport. On weekends, they can take you to Quincy Market if you like. The service of my stay was great.
Worst Doubletree Hilton that I have stayed in. First thing is the light didn't work in the room when we got to the room. The maintenance guy came (he was nice), but it took a while for him to fix. There is no microwave or fridge in the room which for the amount of money we are paying for is ridiculous, and for a Hilton brand hotel should be a basic amentity. The $15 a day for parking seems a little high for a hotel that is not close to downtown Boston, just seems like they are taking advantage of people. The AC in our room was making a loud noise last night and we had to turn it on and off a few times for it to sound normal.
I never stayed at a hotel where I have to wait 9 hours for towels or pay for a disgusting breakfast buffet.
The language barrier with the staff was also hectic I mean customer service employees should not have trouble with speaking or understanding English on top of being extremely angry. Through out my 6 day stay not even once had the front desk employee even say hello.
I guess the only good thing about this hotel is its location since it's not far from the center and the airport. Plus the shuttle is free but the drivers ruin that too by literally putting thier hands out for a tip. You want tips for be late ?! The shuttle schedule stated it starts at 5am but for 3 days straight the shuttle didn't leave till 5:15am?!! I honestly don't recommend his place unless your up for a lazy staff, no sleep or bad food.
For a Double Tree, this was the worst breakfast we've had. The DT usually has a VERY good breakfast menu, full of fresh food and made to order options. Here it was like it was all made from a robot or machine. There also is no free coffee available in the lobby. Some people may not care, but that is one item I usually expect to have. Beds were comfy, and the staff is super helpful.
Disgusting hotel dirty sheets and pillows. Front desk employees are all unprofessional idiots and don't even speak or understand proper English. I asked for a microwave and refrigerator at 2pm and didn't receive one till they woke me up at 11:35pm! Toilets kept getting clogged! And the worst part was the horrible breakfast buffet, a huge rip off! 15 dollars for what?!! Old frozen eggs and cereal ! I wouldn't eat it for free! I had stomach aches for days! My entire week there was gruesome I couldn't not even do my work because of they partying going on why does a doubletree underage kids to rent a room drink smoke marijuana and party till 5am? There basically supporting child abuse. This place needs to be shut down to say the least.
Nice place, clean and quiet. Most of the staff were very friendly but had to dock stars due to a couple of things. One, all the times they had on their room brochures for things like when the kitchen closed, were all wrong and they offered no apologies. There wasn't a breakfast buffet like stated. Food was not great at all. My biggest pet peave was that there would be a huge line of guests and as one person was trying to help, there were three others standing back talking and just watching. Come on people, help out. Some folks just had questions. All in all, i would probably pick a different hotel.
