Honestly I've gone to Don Pedro's for a long time. The food has generally been pretty satisfactory, it just depends on the time of day you go. Definitely aim for lunch or dinner rush times because you know everything will be fresh. Although the issue comes with the waiting staff. It is horribly inconsistent and if you get unlucky it can ruin your night. Personally we had Ricardo, he's never been properly nice and we actually had the host at our table more often than him. He runs off faster than you can get almost anything out of your mouth and he didn't even properly introduce himself, he barely said hi to start with. Honestly if you go here all for anyone but Ricardo as your server and you should be just fine!
They fed us even though they were about to close. Awesomeness! Great service, good food.
Very nice place come eat Mexican food. Atmosphere is really nice too. Little spend on food over great place to come and eat at. Never had a bad meal yet Nice date night or even come being the family too.
Quality Mexican food at a good price. Every time I go want to try something new but I keep ordering the fajita burrito. Very good margaritas too!
Great food and service. People can get in fast on their lunch hour, get their food and out within their lunch hour. They are always willing to change sauces on most of the dishes, they do not frown on sharing or taking leftovers. We also love the giant to go platters.
The staff was extremely friendly, polite and paid close attention to our needs. The food was delicious.
We call this place "old reliable" because there have been many instances where we started off intending to eat someplace else, but end up eating here. Don Pedro's serves good Mexican food at reasonable prices in a clean, brightly decorated dining area. Meals always arrive quickly and piping hot, and 9 out of 10, in portions generous enough to make 2, sometimes 3 mores meals out of a doggie bag. Do they say "doggie bag" anymore? I dunno, but as long as these guys keep doin' what they're doin', we'll be loyal customers! Don Pedro's is located on Bear River Drive; they did have a satellite restaurant on Front Street, which has been closed for awhile.
Love this places never leave hungry for more. Can barely walk. Great food must try if you are in the area.
The best Mexican food around. It is fresh and made in house. Awesome service and prices. I recommend this place to everybody.
Not impressed with this place, my enchiladas were covered in this god awful mole sauce instead of enchilada sauce like it states on the menu. My husband got a fajita burrito and it had no fajita vegetables in it so he asked the manager and asked about it KINDLY and she said oh yes it should have had it in there and walked away, no discount, no offer to bring fajita veggies on the side nothing. Spare yourself the money and go somewhere else because it's not the cheapest either.
Very nice restaurant, wonderful food a lot for money, beautiful interior, nice staff. Great any time of day & evening.
Friendly staff and comfortable seating. The bean dip is great but the chips are only fair. The last time I ate here my meal was big but lacked the flavor I expect from Mexican food.
This was good Mexican food, I enjoyed it. They were nice and kept our salsa and chips full
Good fajitas. Steak was tender and the onions were cooked perfectly. Super nice staff and good service
The service was good, but the food is terrible. I ordered enchiladas with red sauce. The food was brought out 5 minutes after it was ordered (always a bad sign). The enchiladas came out drenched in this mole-colored adobo sauce. I scraped most of it off. The enchilada fillings were bland. My wife's food was even worse. She sent her plate back twice. The server was very apologetic and comped her meal, which was nice.
Note to self: Never eat Tex-Mex outside of Texas! It just isn't worth it. I would have had a better meal at Taco Bell.
