At first I was a little surprised by the small menu and high prices but the good was excellent and worth every penny. The service was horrible and there weren't even busy.
the grilled trout was the best trout I have ever had! Very fresh and cooked to perfection. It came with gourmet multicolored fingerling potatoes. I subbed out the green beans for a salad with a delicious cilantro dressing. The house salad had great darker greens rather than iceburg lettuce which I always appreciate. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The decor was great. An industrial urban style feel you would find in a loft apt. Brick walls metal and wood elements. Lots of nice textures intermixed. Beer was awesome and the stout beer was a nice surprise. Delicious and I would return anytime. I know this sounds too good to be true but my experience at this restaurant while on vacation was so good I had to write about it.Thank you.
Great place. Great beer. Trout whistle goes great with the blackened catfish
My entire family enjoyed their food. Good service, okay prices, and an outdoor area for the kids to play.
Ate there at bar last night with friends. Service was great, beers were average, food was terrible. Trout was very dry and overcooked. Summer corn salad served with far too much vinegar. It burned my friends lips. I ordered chowder and it was served at room temperature. I sent it to be warmed and five minutes later it came back slightly warm. I then told bartender I did not want it. He was friendly and did not chArge me.
Great beer and food was very good. Service was great too!
I'm reviewing the food here. The beers are pretty good. But I've been very disappointed with the food on three occasions. Dried out meat, that was waaay oversalted. For the price, not worth it. Perhaps go there to enjoy the beers, and order an inexpensive appetizer? It is a real shame as the Q is in my neighborhood and I would love to eat there often. But not going to spend $17 on a poorly prepared meal.
Loved the online menu. Arriving at the restaurant we find out they have changed to a $10.00 menu. The selections were extremely small. Asked for ribs they were out. Three people got the chicken it was dry.. The barbacoa tacos were small and tasteless.. Extremely disappointing.. The only good thing was the calm chowder! Service was mediocre.. We were never asked how our food was sat with no water or drinks for sometime and the plates wer so small they would only feed a child all left hungry..
Great stop if traveling with kids. Large grassy patio area for the kids to run around while you wait for your food. Good local beer.
Wayyyyyyy overpriced. This place used to be pretty special. Now, insane prices for mediocre food. The wings at this place used to be grilled. Now, for $13, you get the standard fare with entirely too much vinegar based sauce. And, I have no idea how they called the $23 grits in the 'shrimp and grits' dish anything even remotely resembling grits. As a local I would suggest you look elsewhere. This place is priced to take full advantage of visiting tourists. Stop in for the fabulous Rhombus. One time and out for the food these days.
