Eggs cooked right. Sausage links were fine. Coffee tasted fresh. Servers were very pleasant and attentive w/o being intrusive.

I've never had a bad meal at Jody's. Their breakfasts are amazing, and I love their burgers and sandwiches for lunch as well. And their price always surprises me with how cheap it is. Which leaves me more to give to their amazing staff :)

The food was great! This is a the definition of a diner.
I was expecting something that was just reheated and mediocre. But, my hamburger bun had been toasted and the onion rings were great! I'll be stopping by again next time I'm out that way.
The place was pretty busy, but the food didn't take too long. And the staff were all super friendly. I love it!response / report this review -

Jody's is a favorite of mine and the hubby. We eat here frequently. In all the years we have ate here we have never had a bad meal.
The atmosphere is like the old time Dinners. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. You get a good size portion for your money.response / report this review -

Pancakes n poached eggs w bacon good. Soup is super salty. Navajo taco is not a Navajo taco it is made w their scone bread. Do not recommend. The wait for your food and drinks is long. Also don't recommend the coffee, it was watery. I think the breakfast food is what you should try eating here. Just don't order coffee or water.

I had their smothered breakfast burrito and my wife had an omelette. Both were amazing and huge portions. Outstanding friendly service. The while experience just couldn't have been better.

We traveled through on our way back to Colorado from San Francisco, and this was definitely a highlight of the trip. It was a Saturday morning around 10, and the place was packed full, which is always a good sign. We only had to wait a minute for a table, though, and then the coffee (which was delicious) started flowing. As for the food, the chicken fried steak and eggs were, hands down, the best I've had in years - maybe ever. And the husband had a tasty smothered burrito nearly as big as his head. Our servers were so friendly and attentive, too. I really felt like we got a little slice of Evanston by eating here. If we ever find ourselves here again, Josie's will be the first meal. Wonderful!

This place was delicious, but the staff was the best. We had our 2 dogs in truck and asked for a container of water and the sweetest woman brought out 2 bowls, and then even came and refilled them. They have our business for life.. now the food, fries were fresh and hot, we had both beer battered and regular. Can't go wrong with either. Philly was bomb, and my 3 year old ate almost all her burger. I wouldn't recommend the fish sandwich though, it wasn't great. Next time I'll go with the chicken fried steak.. stop here if you can, you won't regret it.

Well oiled machine. Stopped by on the way out of town and we were in and out in 40 minutes. Large breakfast portions, diner coffee, all the yumminess for a low price. Two meals only $20! So good! Will be back again.

What a good meal. I had the "not so Philly cheese steak". Steak was so tender & lean. Flavor was there. They have a French fry sauce that is yummy. A lot of food I had to get a to go box. Jody's was highly recommended. I now know why. I back up the recommendation if you are in the area. Exit 6 off I-80.

Hand cut fries were delicious. Chicken fried steak was delicious. Good reviews about the biscuits and gravy. Big portions all around. Super friendly staff, good people. Appeared to be a lot of locals here which says something. Will come again!

We came up to Evanston. to pick up some fireworks and we enjoyed a delicious meal at Jody's. Two of us had the pork chops and eggs, one had the chicken fried steak and eggs,another had the philly omelette. My husband had the Mexican omelette, and I enjoyed the breakfast smothered burrito. All the meals came with crispy golden hash browns and my family members got to choose between pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and maybe french toast. My oldest had the biscuits and gravy and everyone else had the pancakes. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The waitress was courteous and they were very organized on such a busy day. We'll stop by again when we go to Wyoming from Utah to pick up fireworks.
