Such tasty pastries and bread, and the coffee is wonderful. Our sandwich was ok, not phenomenal but we only tried the chicken sandwich - there are others that could be better. Would definitely recommend. Great atmosphere.
Great coffee shop. Best I've been to in a long time. Great inside and outside seating. Decor is great. Food looked amazing and coffee was great.
A wide range of delicious food and beverages. They seem to have put a lot of thought and effort into the menu and I've enjoyed eating there every time I have gone. The food is unquestionably worth the wait, but be aware that it may take 10-20 minutes to make it through the line and receive your order on a weekend.
Fantastic breakfast place with only fresh pastries and croissants. Next to that they have a great menu and the staff is super nice as well. Parking is not an issue, but make sure you are on time. It can be crowded, although a lot also just buy for takeaway.
I really wanted to love this place. The story of the founders, a husband and wife team is inspiring. It has a beautiful instagram-worthy shop stocked with the cutest things. Their white and blue packaging is so chic and they have four different croissant types.
The service and quality of food leave a lot to be desired. The croissant was moist and tasted buttery but the consistency was more like bread. A well made croissant dough will look like layers and layers of thin sheets on top of each other. Check out Dominique Ansel's pastries, now that's perfect.
The tables were all dirty or wet and no one cared to wipe them for us.
The food was really good. The outdoor seating was laid out really well. Great place to start your day before walking around J Hole.
Best breakfast in Jackson. No question. Great coffee and tea as well (had both as went here twice in three days).
Will absolutely go back!
Awesome place to get really good breakfast. Loved the croissants. Beautiful interior and nice terrace. If you're looking for some breakfast in Jackson, go there. You won't regret it.
Oh my god. So good. So so good. They nailed the chocolate croissant experience, for one thing! Great pastries but also excellent eggy-breakfast type things. I was there on a busy morning but they were fast. The outdoor seating environment is gorgeous- a fire, herbs in pots growing everywhere, lots of people watching to do as its right near Jackson's town square.
What a surprise this was. A small breakfast bakery with much European influence to it's menu. Seating is very limited and the lines (most mornings) go out the door to the sidewalk. They do a superb job of managing the crowd rapidly in order to preserve a pleasant and satisfying experience. We really enjoyed our unique and delicious visit to the Persephone Bakery.
The breakfast here is amazing! Haven't tried anything else yet, but would definitely come back based on the breakfast selection and deliciousness.
We loved the bakery - their pastries and lunch items are delicious, their coffee creations are great; this place would even be top notch in San Francisco or NYC!
Literally the best coffee I've ever had! Small speciality menu with fresh, local ingredients and a huge variety of unique and delicious pastries, breads and sweets. Easy parking, friendly staff and reasonable prices for the quality of food. A really lovely experience!
I have never had better chocolate chip cookies in my life! We live in Florida and have ordered more treats from Persephone's online.
Afternoon tea is also delightful there.
Overall great experience, one of the better breakfast places in Jackson, of which I sampled a few during our trip.
1. Few - but universally delicious - savory breakfast options. Collectively, my friends and I had them all. Delicious sweet items & pastries at reasonable prices.
2. Great coffee & coffee fixins' , though refills come with a 75-cent price tag. Seems kind of silly, but perhaps understandable for the high-quality coffee doctoring available (honey packets, etc.). Ask for it up front at the register.
3. Excellent outdoor patio space, plenty of room to spread out. The indoor seating is a little tight, and I can imagine it being crowded during the winter months indoors.
4. Service with a smile - this is seemingly a rare commodity, particularly in late summer in Jackson. Much friendlier than other shops we experienced.
