  Beautiful pottery, lovely store with excellent staff. My husband and I love to go to the store and see Bob or other potters. Don't miss a visit to this wonderful shop when in Boone, NC!!!

  I love this place and all the fine artist who place their work here. Wonderful place to pick up gifts for a wedding or any other special time in someone's life
  It's even a good place to just brouse and enjoy looking;)

  I believe in supporting local artists and Boone, NC is FULL of them. I walked through another art shop full of different vendors and I thought to my selfwhy dont I go to Doe Ridge Pottery because they have beautiful items and the majority of the work is done RIGHT in the store. Sounds good enough right?? Well I walked in the store to see someone LOOK directly at me and then look back at his computer. I dont think its the potter because it was a young manbut it was rude. I thoughtwell maybe hes busyso i continued walking through the store looking at items. NEVER approached by the man to ask what I was looking for or if he could help. I had every intention of purchasing something for my mom for mother's day. And I DIDjust NOT at that store. I went back to the store with multiple vendors' booths and was nicely greeted and picked up another local artist's pottery. Just as niceand probably less expensive. SOoooooooooooooo on that notethis store lost a sale and I will NEVER go back in therealso I will tell everyone I know that they dont seem very concerned with their customers and to shop somewhere that does. If your customer service is going to be THAT badclose the store and go back to letting other's sell it for youjust rent a booth in that other storewhich will remain unamedbut is JUST down the street a few stores!!! In this horrible economy, things like hand-crafted pottery is NOT a necessity. So when out shopping for something that I dont need and considering that there wasnt a single soul walking into, out of or around that store you would think a place like this would value its customer's who want to buy something. Thanks for NOTHING!!!!!!
