We were a group of nine. Six plates of food came cold and were sent back. They were replaced with hot food. To the restaurants credit we were not charged. I would certainly eat there again as my Chicken Pot Pie was exceptional.

We had a surprise birthday lunch for my wife. From the valet to the staff the level of service we received was beyond wonderful. This is a place for anyone would enjoy the food was perfect no one had anything returned or exchanged.

One of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Steaks were cooked precisely to our requests, crab bisque was wonderful, sides were elegant and flavorful, wonderful mixed drinks and fresh decadent desserts. Ditkas is not a quiet place on a busy night, but you can still have a space to yourself without having to yell to communicate. Fast valet and excellent accommodating staff. We will be back

Food was not sent out as ordered, but cooked well and acceptable, and the service from the bartender was that of "could care less". Seems like they just assume you should be happy and drop some money and move on. Very little personalized service the last several visits. It is hard to find good peoplethey do have some nice people there, but too few.

Had a really nice date night. Waiter had just the right amount of classic hospitality jokes and charm, but unobtrusive and let us take our time. Everyone we interacted with was extremely nice, and my N.Y. strip was perfectly cooked.

Good wine selection. Good steaks. Great service. Server was very knowledgeable. My prime rib was good, even if it was super duper fatty. But, it is prime rib and I ordered the 16 oz for that reason. The cheesecake was alright, but not spectacular. I had a good experience, but there are a lot of good restaurants in Chicago and I think I would prefer to try a different restaurant next time I'm in Chicago. I wouldn't say it really stands out for any reason among restaurants in it's class.

Very solid four star dining experience! Oysters were delicious albeit a little small. The dry aged ribeye is the way to go, melt in your mouth good steak!

The menu and food have gotten better since my last visit to a Ditka's a couples of years ago. They told us breakfast was available so long as we were seated by 1pm. If you are in the mood for steak, you can ask to see the Lunch Steaks menu. The combo was a good deal for lunch where you can select half a sandwich and a soup or salad for $11. I went with the Rueben and soup combo. The sandwich was good with just the right amount of ingredients. The soup of the day was a delicious crab bisque and the combo was very filling for lunch.

The decor is upscale and the service is great.

There's complimentary valet parking, which might be your best bet if the limited spots out front is taken and you don't want to park in the garage. There was constructions going in the parking garage and I didn't quite know where to park, but my car was still there when I returned. From the garage, there's an elevator that you can take up and you don't have to walk outside to get to the restaurant.

I've been to Ditka's many times, and typically the food and service are excellent. My last visit was different. I ordered one pound of steamed Alaskan King Crab legs and couldn't have been more disappointed. The legs were very thin (with little meat), over-cooked and cold. For that price I expected much more. The table service, however, was very good.
