Some hammered guy got in my face for absolutely no reason. I shoved him out of my way and walked away. As I'm walking away the guy hit me as hard as he possibly could in the back of the head. Luckily I was not seriously injured Security then deliberated and told me we would both be charged for assault unless I left. I've been going here for years and this is the first altercation I was apart of. Wouldn't recommened going unless u want to be roofied or treated like second class.

Extremely racist staff. If you’re black, I do NOT recommend. Make sure you have your white friends handy

We had a blast! The bar itself is super fun! They had a live band that did a really great job playing throwbacks and current songs. Everyone seemed to be having a great time dancing. Unfortunately, the drinks were not that great. For about $12-15 a drinkI was not impressed. Worst Tom Collins and whiskey sour my boyfriend and I had ever had. If they could amp up their drinks, the bar would be 5 stars!

The drinks are expensive considering that they water down the bottles they pour from. If you order a double, you should be able to taste some alcohol at least.

Seriously, if you aren't an alcoholic and have had 6 drinks, you should notice something.

I never read the comments before today but most of them are totally right! The bouncers make this place horrible. They are so rude, basically acting like thugs; you'd think you'd be treated with some decency as a customer but nope, just straight up rude "if you don't want to pay cover then just get out of here" after we waited in line (legit at the front of the line mind you) for an hour. Sooo many people were just waltzing in and they didn't even say oh there's a wait or inform us there's a cover or anything at all really. Funny thing is I've been before a couple times and there was never a cover and we saw firsthand like dozens of people going in without paying "the cover" but just randomly the red headed bouncer says 20$ or get outta line. And he basically shoved my sister out.. so disrespectful. The previous times I've been the music and vibes were good so we wanted to go back but damn never again will I go here. They need to fire those bouncers asap or I'm sure the business will suffer or rich white people can keep paying and they might be good. They're just awful and total pricks and you can totally tell they are pocketing the money for themselves. Worst club experience ever or waiting in line experience.. cause I never got in to actually club. Word of advice, stay away from this place!

Worst security guards I have ever seen. They didn't realized that I had been squeezed and choked several times by a very tall guy. His friend reported I would do something. That is pretty a the worst thing I had experienced. Never was thought out of a club especially without reason. The security just choosed the more easy way. Don't through a group of 5 people and especially not the 2,10m guy who chocked me.

I am writing this in hopes to help the business owner. I'm assuming you are unaware of the practices of one of your doormen.. I am referring to the tall red head. On Saturday, he was telling everyone, in my group, that the cover charge was $20. We were all surprised. After debating, some paid the money and the rest of us stayed in line. He eventually gave in and let the rest of us in that refused to pay. It was very clear that he is putting all of that money into HIS POCKET. He was a complete prick. We were about to leave and give our money to a different bar. I'm sure you can find someone better and it would likely help your business.

Otherwise, it's good dj music and we had a good time once we were inside.

Happened to us when we are trying to enter for our graduation celebration, although we were well dressed. We were made to stand in line while they let in Caucasian crowd . There are plenty of other bars at Hubbard to choose from if you are a minority , I really dint expect such discrimination in Chicago . If you ain't Caucasian don't even bother trying to get in here they are racist!!!!!!

Ya the other reviews are true. They're blatantly racist. You may think, "oh but I'm educated and dress well", doesn't matter. The bouncers will not let you in if you're anything but Caucasian. I used to go to this club frequently two years ago, but I guess management said no more minorities allowed. Don't give these people your business or waste your time.

Avoid at all cost. This place is a waste of time and you will only get in if you're white. Bouncers need to be fired immediately. If you want a taste of how America was before the Civil rights movement, then come check it out.

Its a great place. Re all reviews: YES, RACISTS, YES.. it's hilarious if you're non white, chances are on the weekends you'll be pointed out straight to the queue, and have you watch from there how white people walk in.
But hey! How come a door guy making like $14 an hr get the balls to do that and still get to keep his job?
Bingo - they are instructed by the owners/ upper management TO DO SO/ find reasons to REJECT non whites. Good luck
