Boardwalk Villas are both beautiful and we'll situated. The rooms where updated, comfortable and clean, and the service here was top notch. One can easily walk to both Epcot and Hollywood studios from here. There are also a number of interesting restaurants and attractions right along the boardwalk itself.
Our family booked a large room. And it was large. Spacious. Roomy. And clean. With a great view. Was able to see a couple of the fireworks shows every night. The staff was very helpful. Plenty to eat and drink along the boardwalk. Just walking the boardwalk at night was nice. And the BoardWalk Vilas are close to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
Great resort. Very comfortable beds, quick and easy access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios which are both within walking distance. There is also boat access to both parks, and bus access to the other Disney parks and downtown/springs area. There are night life options as well unlike many of the other resorts. Boardwalk hosts the Atlantic Dance Hall and Jellyrolls Dueling Piano Bar which are both adult only (21+) establishments. There are also small shows on the boardwalk as well as carnival games and hair threading. Overall, one of my favorite Disney Resorts.
Great place to visit. A bit loud, definitely a more adult and even a younger adult crowd than most Disney areas. Jelly Rolls is a fun scene if you don't mind tourist bars where people drink too much and the inevitable happens 🤩🤢. But entertaining guys run the pianos and some great voices too. The food options are great, Flying Fish is my favorite. It is just a pretty place for a stroll at night too.
Very neat looking resort. I liked the stores and restaurants near by. We didn't stay at this resort but took a bus to it so that we could walk around and explore. I liked it's proximity to both Epcot and Hollywood studios, and it had a bus going to and from the other parks. Seemed quite peaceful on the day we went - so that's nice!
Very nice hotel and the pool I slide is great! The hotel is in a great spot to quickly reach the Hollywood and Epcot parks. The only thing that I don't like is that the rooms in some areas are hard to get to from the boardwalk making you walk up one flight of steps (or elevator) and then immediately down another to go through the building to the other side.
I've actually stayed here 2 times, the last being July of 2017. It's very nice and if i were rating it the time before I would have given it a 4. The reason it gets a 3 for me is the lack of planning from the imagineering dept. In July it rains and rains and rains and there is no way to get to the Boardwalk Restaurants without getting wet. The big problem is that there is NO restaurants actually in the hotel itself. If you want to eat your walking in the rain. It's miserable. All I can say is build a sheltered walkway to at least the first restaurant.
The flying fish served oversalted scallops and pork. "Would you like scallop with your salt?" Their side dishes, bread, and even the pasta and sauce the scallops were served with were perfectly salted. The scallops were cooked well too! Why do you ruin perfectly good meat by drowning it with salt. It was nasty. The suggested paired wine (Chianti) was okay. Bland and inoffensive. It had the benefit of being decent at washing down the salt. The venue was clean. The live music was pleasant.
One of the best hotels Disney has. Rooms are fantastic and staff are wonderful. The hotel is right on the boardwalk which offs quick access to Epcot and some great shops and restaurants right there on the boards. You're also a quick walk away from Hollywood studios. This is a must stay resort.
I've stayed at the Boardwalk before and it's quite nice. The service is nice, the rooms are nice and at night there is entertainment on the boardwalk. The bus system is lacking however, to get to the parks. You really need to plan about an hour to an hour and a half to get to each park, except Epcot, since you're right next door. Even Hollywood studios takes less time to walk there (about 20min) compared to the buses. They really need to work on that system!
Good time at ice cream joint on boardwalk. Good prices and amazing choices for flavors of ice cream and sorbet. Would recommend to a friend, just be prepared for a bit of chaos while ordering since the lines aren't really defined and you have to be assertive to get service!
Got treated like royalty visiting here for an anniversary dinner with my wife. Southern coastal plantation meets northern coastal whaling town. Could have lived with a few less stairs after a day walking around theme parks, but it was so beautiful that we're considering staying there next time we come to town.
Oh man. This place holds a special place in my heart as it is filled with meories from my child hood. Coming back as an adult is a dream come true. (Sorta Disney's theme) it is located perfectly to all the resort. But the best part is the name sake. The board walk of the board walk makes this place the best place to stay at Disney. (Coming from someone who has only stayed at 2 of them so I'm not really an expert) a trip to the board walk is worth it even if you are not going into the parks.
The room is lovely with great. The pool is great. Friendly staff. There's fun entertainment on the boardwalk in the evenings. Just be ready to pay a lot for any snacks or drinks while visiting. I'd like there to be better casual dining with indoor seating.
We visited the Boardwalk because we made dinner reservations at one of the restaurants inside. We were pleasantly surprised by how much was available to enjoy for free! There was so much to see, plenty of places to eat (although everywhere was quite expensive) and several little shops to enjoy. My favorite part was that there were several top notch street performers that were super entertaining for kids and adults alike. They did not ask for money because they are paid by Disney to perform, which was really cool.
We were there in the beginning of December and everything was decorated so beautifully! The hotel had the coolest display of Christmas trees and gingerbread houses that I've ever seen! The trees were all decorated with gingerbread ornaments, and the houses were super creative and meticulous in every detail! We loved it!! And as we've come to enjoy, everyone who worked in the Disney community was friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer service! We will definitely be returning!
