Do NOT stay here! We booked a room to be in a King and the person who made the reservation booked it as a standard room. This was an important part of our trip as we don’t allow our little girl to normally sleep with us and told her that she could. They had no rooms to switch us to so we decided halfway through to switch the the beach club. They called us earlier and told us that our other room was ready and confirmed with the other hotel and sent the Bell hop. We went to the park and tried to confirm our new room and they said they didn’t have a reservation for a couple more days! They refuse to do ANYTHING to compensate for all this frustration and stress. We’ve spent more time on the phone dealing with them than we have been able to have fun. If you want a “Magical” experience don’t stay here. Besides all this, the rooms at a holiday inn are nicer. This is the furthest bus stop at every park and the buses are the slowest. Most other resorts have 2 buses to our 1.

We went during the first weeks of December. Unfortunately our resort was under construction but the room and area we were in was so nice and the property was still beautiful and peaceful. The outside looked dated when approaching but the interior was so nice and comfortable. The pools are heated and there are areas designated for adults and kids. Definitely will be going back after renovations are done.

The only draw back is that our stop was the last one on the bus route so we had to wait 30-40 minutes for the buses to come for us to go to the parks, Disney Springs, or the main area. It was faster walking to the main area than waiting for the bus. But it honestly was not that bad with the weather.

Caribbean Beach is one of our favorite Disney Resorts. The ambiance and decor transform you to the Islands, and the perks of staying on Disney property is unparalleled. You receive free transportation to and from Disney parks and Disney Springs, the ability to room charge any and all purchases anywhere on Disney property, and Extra Magic Hours at Theme Parks where they are open to Resort Guests only. The service is fantastic, and room have been recently updated for top quality. I highly recommend it!

Stayed here in April of 2017. It's a beautiful resort excellent food. Shutters restaurant is awesome and the food is amazing, and the staff are great, friendly, helpful. The only down side is it's kind of spread out and where you stay is separate from where you check in. On the up side from the resort you can see the fireworks of Hollywood Studios as well as here some of the musical and also Epcot. Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. Loved the individual Beach's with hammocks by each area and the themed pool is awesome. Plus Loved the movies under the stars.

Hotel was clean and so nice. Stayed in Aruba. It was the last stop so the buses took so much longer to get us. But it was easy to find our room and only half a mile from the food court. Beautiful sights and the pools are heated. Breakfast buffet is quick service and other items count as snacks. Didn't get to have dinner here but it was still a great place to stay!

We always enjoy our stays at the Disney resorts and this was no exception. This resort was undergoing a major renovation during our stay, and we were made aware of that fact long before we booked our trip, however, despite the renovations, this very large resort was a lot of fun for our family and very accommodating to whatever we needed. The local pool was right around the corner from our room and the big pool was a short stroll over a beautiful bridge, with plenty to see. Transportation was always readily available weather we needed to just go to another part of the resort or to the parks. Each area of the resort has its own bus stop, as do most resorts in Disney. Food and beverages were excellent, staff was friendly and courteous, despite it being the day after hurricane Irma. Everything was clean and well kept, and the areas under construction were neatly kept out of sight. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone planning a trip to Disney!

Very nice room! Even though there was construction I didn't care! Great buffet! And food! Pool was nice and service was excellent! Stay here if you want a semi cheap, yet nice room. We also got a 75$ gift card per night we stayed because of construction! Of course so many people saw it and started booking. But we got it! Thank you so much for a first time experience!!!

It takes a bit to get your bearings with finding the room and how to get around the resort. But, once you do, there are so many nice things and people. The pool was stellar, giant L shape with lift assistance at both the main and the more private one closer to the hotel. I do wish there was a DVD player of sorts in the room as we brought Disney movies with us for late night relaxing. But overall, 2 days in, and it's been amazing!

Amazing place! My husband and I were here to see our son propose matrimony at Magic Kingdom. This resort is under construction but you would never know it. The resort was very well kept and the construction site well contained. The staff went above and beyond to compensate for limited dining options. The customer service experience here was exceptional! Big shout to Undrill and Kory at the dining hall. Honestly they were all super attentive, kind and friendly. We had an amazing mini vacation! Under the circumstances it was great food and accommodations! We knew in advance that we booked the vacation while the resort is under construction. With all things considered Disney does an excellent job at meeting the customers needs. We would love to come back when it's all completed.

We have stayed here a few times over the 10 years. They are renovating so there is no real food area, but they do have a buffet in a climate controlled tent and permanent food trucks. Rooms were clean and service was very good. Also good size for our family of 4. I suggest rooms away from pools due to the fact water brings insects. Corner rooms have a little roomier floor plan. Bus service stops at each section of resort and there is not really a far ride to any park or Disney Springs. Little ones might enjoy pirate rooms or even big ones.

It's very close to the parks so the drive is easy, about ten minutes. The pool is fantastic. The main building is under construction right now but they've done a decent job compisating with food trucks and vendors. If you go to the parks it's fine. But if you want to spend time at the resort you might want to avoid it until construction is finished.

This was the first trip to Disney for me and my three kids, (4, 3, 1) but my wife has gone many times as a kid and growing up staying at various resorts. The staff was very friendly and the main pool was nice, with a couple water slides and a toddler section but that's where the positives end.

The absolute worst part about this resort were the cockroaches in our room, absolutely disgusting! I woke up in the middle of the night to something biting my back in my bed, it was too dark to see but It was something nasty about the size of my thumb, luckily it was me and not my wife or kids because they would have lost it. My wife killed a cockroach in her suitcase while we were packing up, another one in her shoe, and when we got back to Midway there was one crawling away from our diaper bag. I'm terrified that our house will now be infested with roaches because of this hell hole. I've stayed in a lot of different resorts/hotels/condos in different tropical places and I have NEVER had bugs like that in my room. We called maintenance and they said they would come to spray but obviously, it didn't work.

The food was disgusting, for example, the breakfast sausage was burnt on the outside but pink/raw on the inside, you could taste the powder in the eggs and everything else was just bland and gross. It was the same bad food meal after meal, it never changed. There was a burger meal you could get instead of the buffet, but often our burgers were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. My wife kept telling me that none of the other resorts she stayed at were like that. She said the other resorts had such a wide selection and you could always find something you liked. We contemplated going to those other resorts to eat with our meal plan, but with 3 small children, it was too difficult to take a bus to the park, then to a different resort then back to the park then back to this place. We tried to eat as many meals in the park as possible.

The room was tiny and had a musty smell, it was labeled as a 5 person room luckily three of our five are toddlers because I don't know how you could get more than 3 people in that room. I remember after we unpacked I joked that we could vacation on a submarine now because I was amazed all of our stuff was able to fit in the room. The carpet and furniture made me feel like I was in a 70's porn, the bathroom ceiling was only 6.5 feet tall, I made the mistake of lifting my arms during my first shower and scraped them on the popcorn ceiling. The bathroom sink and tile were updated but that didn't really make up for the rest.

Our clothes smelled like the musty room, we unpacked everything in our driveway and shook out all of our clothes before bringing them into the house to wash everything. We left our suitcases outside and I bought roach traps just in case any other roaches came back with us.

The resort was under construction and we were informed of that prior to coming, they gave us $75 in gift cards a day as compensation for the construction which was nice but that doesn't even come close to covering the issues we ran into.

Being my first trip to Disney and hearing about my wife's great past trips I really set my expectations high, this place crushed those expectations. I honestly don't have any desire to go back.

Sorry for the long review but I really wanted to get a review out there, especially about the bugs, I can't express how disgusting it was. If there were no bug I would have given it a 3 out of 5.

The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the construction. It said on the website that it was under refurbishment but half the place is one big construction zone. The main lobby area where we normally shop and eat is off limits. They tried to accommodate but a food truck with 4 options isn't what I was expecting. Still great service with everything. I am curious to see it once its done.

Google is asking for a review but I've only been here a few days. Take this review as that - I plan to do a tripadvisor review. Resort is under construction but they try to make it as easy as possible on you. The main impact appears to food. We had to eat packaged meals due to rain (the hot buffet they set up was closed) and they were marginal at best. Staff otherwise has been the normal Disney super friendly and hospitable.

Unfortunately there's a lot of construction going on and will be until next July 2018. I have a lot of wonderful memories here as my wife and I spent our honeymoon here back in June 2000. There have been some annoyances related to these renovations. Disney has tried to compensate us some for this but it's still an annoyance. We're in Aruba but would've preferred to stay in the Jamaica section. Overall it's good. The rooms are good, the parking is good. People are nice as always. If you're coming to Disney, staying in their resorts is the only way to go. Take your pick, but the pros significantly outweigh the cons.
