They call it "Memory Care" but there is a severe lack of care being given to residents by the caretakers. I've personally witnessed the caretakers ignore, neglect, push and pull on residents. In additon, my grandmother's living quarters have also never been clean when I have visited her. We transfered her to a different facility and the difference was incredible. If you're looking for a Memory Care unit, please save yourself from the pain of seeing your loved one mistreated and go somewhere else.

Beautiful location and facility! The staff is super friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in the door! Their amenities are also wonderful for their residents. Can’t recommend Discovery village more!

Friendly and helpful staff. Place well kept and manicured. Great food. Big rooms compared to other places in the area. Would highly recommend…

My mom is in the assisted living area and has Congestive Heart Failure. After two hospitalizations in a short time I spoke to Marieewan Knaland, Director of Dining Services, about a low salt diet. They don’t offer that, but he was very supportive of my idea of not serving her high salt foods like. soups, ham, bacon, and sausage. Together we have kept mom out of the hospital and I’m very pleased with his follow through in looking out for my mom’s health. Thank you Marieewan for having mom’s best interests at heart, working with me, and going the extra mile to keep my mom healthier.
