Make sure you bring your own blanket and linen, because it's the cheapest material I've ever seen! Don't count on the breakfast, cuz the coffee is awful and the staff is watching you and make you uncomfortable!! Not friendly at all! Very stingy management! Btw, don't wash your under feet with the soap, cuz you can't keep your balance even after rinsing! Treble experience! Spend a little more and enjoy your vacation!

Small room, clean, good AC. That's all you need. If you spend any time in your hotel room in Monterey other than to sleep, you're doing it wrong.

You can tell the owners put time into their property with the beautiful flowers every where. They were very friendly and respectful. The rooms and spacious and clean. The best was comfortable. It was very cozy and it was walking distance to the breakfast club and the liquor store.

We were several hours late but the staff were awesome about it. Great room and showers. On the bad side though, fridge was unplugged so not really useable as there was no coffee pot or microwave.

It isn't fancy, by any means, but has what you need. The beds are comfortable, though the towels and sheets had spots where they are thin due to wear and tear. Decent location, comfortable neighborhood. Overall good experience.

Simple inn just a few miles outside of Monterey and a few blocks away from Highway 1. The room was a bit outdated and simple, but it was clean. The bed was comfortable. The WiFi slowed down a lot in the evening when it was used by several guests. The air-condition was a bit loud, but cooled the room down quickly. Plenty of parking space in the nicely manicured inner court. The staff was friendly and provided us with tips and information on Monterey. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not worth mentioning - nothing more than a bit of cereals and simple Danish pastry. Luckily, there are several spots to enjoy breakfast right around the corner. Recommendable for a one-night stay.

The rooms were nice. The free breakfast was not what I was expecting. Just coffee, and sliced muffins basically. Front desk was awkward and slightly rude when checking in the first day, but he was all over the place with phone calls asking for vacancy so I understand it. Lots of channels on the TV to relax to at night too.

Keeping in mind this is a super budget motel, my family had a nice 10 hour stay for the night. Not the best amenities but still came out of it feeling refreshed and ready to take on Monterey Bay Aquarium. Don't count on the free breakfast cause it was just two cereal dispensers with off brand flakes and o's. We just went to Denny's. Beds were comfortable. Air Conditioning was great. Toilets were a bit small. Water pressure was just OK. There's free ice and soda machines near the office.

Issue with the website caused me to book in the past. Showed up and the front desk lady wouldn't do anything for me and was not interested in helping me figure out what happen. Aside for that, the grounds looked fine, no co clue what the room looked like. So, i guess this a review of the site and people helping me.

We booked through the website and when we showed up, our reservation was not in the system. They told us that we booked for the week previously, rather than our selected date. The date that was registering in the computer was the date we visited the website to book, not the date we reserved for. When we asked if we could be credited as we obviously did not show up for that date since the system showed we had booked another date, we were told that management was out and there was nothing that could be done since our reservation was in the past. No refund. No explanation. No apology. We asked if there were any vacancies and they said they had one room available, but quoted us a rate 25% higher than what we had booked online. We said no way and left. They aren't customer friendly or willing to work with you, so be aware before booking here!
