I originally went here years ago after a terrible customer service experience with another tire shop nearby. Since I started coming here, I have never been let down. Their service techs are quick. There customer service reps go above and beyond to help me out every time I need something or have a problem. Nothing but great things to say about this place.

We bought our tires at discount tire almost 3 years ago. Recently, one of our tires was losing air, so we pulled In to discount tire, a half hour before they closed. This did not seem to bother them. They had found a screw in the tire. They plugged it, patched it from the inside, and also rotated and rebalance all the tires. Because we had bought the tires there, it was ALL done for free! With a smile on there face. I highly recommend discount tire and they have a lifetime customer

The guys who work here are great. Remembered me by name when I came back in to get my car. They stay calm and polite when rude women barge in demanding to be helped NOW. yes that happened when I was there. Not to mention there was a line up waiting before open. Way to go guys for doing amazing work.

I had a tire with a slow leak that I kept putting off for ages. Finally decided to call these guysright in the middle of snow tire season. So I couldn't get a hold of them at all on the phone, as they were so busy. The next day, I drove down for a walk-in appointment. It took several hours, but in the end it was a super simple fix. They didn't try to con me into buying a bunch of stuff, and they were SUPER nice despite being so slammed with work. I'll definitely be coming back!

The crew at Discount Tire are some of the best in the business. Fast service, friendly and helpful staff, and a "No-Pressure" sales philosophy have won all of my family's tire and wheel business. When selecting replacement tires, my customer agent took the time to ask some important and insightful prospecting questions about my driving habits and expectations. He helped my source a set of tires which met my criteria (Average Dry Traction, Excellent Wet/Snow Traction, Above Average Tread Life/Wear, High-Mileage Warranty) without breaking my budget. It's that attention to detail and commitment to ensuring I got the right tires for the right price which will keep my family and I coming back for years to come.

Usually they have great service. I had one issue with a tire not being ordered for almost a month but luckily it wasn't urgent. Just don't say "no rush" in case that was why it didn't get taken care of. Otherwise they are easy to deal with and fair.

They change tires. They sell tires. They do not communicate with customers, so if your tires are wearing unevenly don't expect them to tell you. if all you are looking for is to get your tires changed they will do a great job. Don't expect anything more, customer service is not their forte.

Too many good experiences to list them all! I have dealt with Discount tire as a company for years and have bought All my tires from them. But I Will say this store in Traverse City has been even better than my experience at their other stores. Good prices and a Great staff, both up front and the techs in the back!
If there is a downside it would be that because they are so good they Are busy! Best to make an appointment if at all possible!!!response / report this review -

It makes me mad that this is the only local store. Prices are really good and I am happy with products but this location is always slow. They hardly ever answer the phone. Today I was told wait time was 30 min so I drove 20 miles to have snow tires put on. When I got to the location I was told wait was 2 1/2 hours. If this was a first time incident I wouldn't have said anything. This is the third time this year they have done this to a family member and my business. Please open a second location on east side of Traverse City.

Once again discount tire impresses me with their customer service and loyalty!
Even during the busiest of times they're calm cool and collective no bs and straight to the point.
The best nationwide tire chain I've ever experienced.
