The Georgianna inn is quaint and charming. The beds were really comfortable. The only thing I can complain about is the obnoxious people above me who stomped all over and were really loud most of the night and in the morning. I was thinking they must have had to much to drink, but in the morning, it was more of the same. I will definitely be back to stay at the inn again. Hopefully I'll have normal neighbors next time.

Great clean hotel.Great staff. Wife left her phone in the game room the night before and staff held it in the office for her. Still honest people in the world!!! Walk right out the hotel straight onto the beach. Think this is the only hotel on Tybee you can do this. A lot of shells on the beach to collect in this area. Has a small heated pool. Shower for when you come off the beach right by the hotel door. Good place to relax in the off season to. Watch the ships come up the Savannah river channel right in front of the hotel and sit on the beach at night to watch the stars and meteor showers .

We stayed for our 1 year anniversary/ honeymoon. It was the only B&B on the oceanfront. The room is very nice. The housekeeper was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and the housekeeper was very knowledgeable about the local area. It felt like a home away from home.

It was a nice quiet little hotel, the rooms were nice. The main issue I had was we reserved a room with a beach view and only got a parking lot/ hotel wall view also, the room was right next to the check in desk. They let us switch rooms but had to pay a fee and still no view. Staff was super nice and helpful.

I am here right now.
Day 1 the toilet stopped up, there was no plunger available, we were given a key to another room on another floor to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and told someone would fix in the morning. Next morning we went to the beach thinking all would be fixed when we got back. No it was not. called the office and no one answered. Walked down there and there were several folks behind the desk, they just didn't answer the phone. Got someone to plunge the toilet. 30 min later water was flooding the floor. called the office and someone came, plunged and left saying he would get it cleaned up. House keeping checked to see if we needed towels not knowing we need someone to clean the mess. 2 hours later no one, the rug is still soaked. this is a MESS!!! Convenient to beach but not worth the trouble.

This is a nice clean hotel. Staff is outstanding! On the brochures it says that it is the only beach front hotel which is why we decided to stay there. It's not! Hotel Tybee is on the beach, too. Parking for our Z71 truck was difficult. Had to park across the road from the hotel when I was driving. Could not get into the few spots that were open.

304 DeSoto Beach Club has much to offer but miles to go. The place is nice with a great unobstructed view of the ocean but you have to look across the pool which is also well kept. The condo sleeps 8 but the living room only accommodates 5 comfortably. New sitting furniture is recommended and loose the TV cabinet. Hang the current TV on the wall and create some living space. The current decor is nice and beautiful it's just conducive to the space. Another gripe is toward the elevator. This is toward the complex not 304 specifically. Everyone was having problems with the key lock that summons the elevator. The key won't turn. We had to take the stairs at times. Also to exit the underground garage someone has to get out and manually push a button to open the door. A sensor would be better and timely. Please accept this as creative criticism not complaint. With a little work this would be a 5 star condo. We had a wonderful vacation and appreciate being placed in this unit.

We stayed for 5. Days in May 2017. This hotel is not clean. The grout in the bathroom floor was black. I went to the store and bought detergent. Using the handheld shower and hot water sprayed floor and watched the black grout peel off and down drain. Bathroom cleaned once during stay. Toilet dirty. On our fourth day room not cleaned at all. Bed sheets and covers just thrown up to top of bed. Not vacuumed , sink not cleaned, and sink stopper was broken. Beach umbrellas provided behind high grass behind swimming pool. Must pay hotel to rent umbrella and chairs on beach. Parking area extremely small. Not worth the money. Would never stay here again.

The accommodations are fine but don't expect anyone to go out of their way to take care of their guests. I forgot my brand new bathing suit hanging on the door in the bathroom of my room. I called the very next door to see if it lost and found had it. The lady who answered the phone was annoyed with me and told me I could expect a call back once she asked housekeeping about my missing swimsuit. Not only did I not get a call back but when I followed up, she was rude and informed me it never turned up. Because I am 100% certain that I left it there, I have to get 1 star since some employee clearly was excited to receive a new bathing suit. I didn't even get an apology - this is definitely not the kind of customer service I find acceptable or am used to.

Great place to stay! They let us check in hours early and use the beach and pool. Room was clean and super nice. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. We stayed in Savannah for the week prior and had a washer/dryer in our room at the DeSoto, and they brought us enough laundry supplies to do all of our laundry. Beach access is easy and very private. Pool is heated and cooled. Close to everything but far enough away to remain quiet and relaxing.

The room I was in was clean. It did not have a nice view. (All I could see was other parts of the hotel, not the beach.) However, the real problem was the staff. They were cleaning and doing maintenance early in the morning. Vacuuming and drilling in the walls. If you're an older person who gets up at the crack of dawn, you might not be bothered by this but if you're like me and you like to stay up and sleep in on your vacation, that won't happen here. You'll be woken up no later than 9am. Very frustrating.

Rooms and beach are nice. Solid location. Pool could be warmer but is nice enough. I however did not like the women at the front desk. I found them condescending. They seemed like they didn't want me there just because I was no older than 21. Bathroom is wierd too

This is a really sweet place, if you like laid-back Island ambience. As others have mentioned, the staff seems uniformly great and friendly, and I love the room that I'm staying in. I could nitpick some things - somebody mentioned low water pressure - but it is a great experience if you just want to chill out on the beach. I have a room with a balcony that overlooks the ocean and it is very very nice.
