The initial encounter with the estimator Michael was very thorough and respectful. The work crews for both the new roof and insulation were also respectful and prompt. We did have some issues with the insulation and ventilation process not being completed correctly the first time, but this was promptly remedied at no further expense to us. Overall the experience was good and if any warranty issues should arise, we’re hopeful that process would also be respectful and timely.

Excellent team to work with for our hail damaged roof, would highly recommend.
Inspection was scheduled promptly, and the inspector walked through their findings, work that would be needed, and their process. They also explained changes to code and what would be done to update the roof to meet new code. An estimate was available within 2 hours of the inspection.
Cost was just under one competitor and several thousand less than another competitor.
We were able to schedule work within 1 week of dropping off our deposit, and the office team provided shingle samples to make sure we were happy with the color we selected.
The day of work, crew was prompt, professional, and highly efficient. They completed our roof replacement in a single work day, kept protected surrounding foliage and yard furniture. They cleaned up all debris, and we haven’t encountered a single nail that was left behind.
The crew did run out of ridge cap shingles on the day of work (~15’ of length), but given it was a high temp of 105 that day, they returned to finish the cap off a few days later.
Final inspection was prompt and informative. Answered a few questions on other related items (gutters, sun tubes), and was able to send the final invoice payment with the inspector to avoid a trip to the office.

Deschutes Roofing did a great job, despite dealing with off and on rain showers. Installers were very professional, prompt, polite, and hard working. They left the job absolutely clean and tidy. A follow up inspection was thorough and we were asked many times if we had any questions or concerns. A good experience all around.

We used Deschutes Roofing to fix our insulation under our house. Rats had pulled the original insulation down and our crawl space was pretty tight and narrow, so we definitely wanted someone professional to fix it. They were quick to schedule and responsive. They did have to come out a number of times to complete the work, because not everything was completed, but supervisors checked their work multiple times to make sure it was done right. The work was a little on the pricey side, but it was a tough, gross job, so we were satisfied with the overall work.

I hired Deschutes Roofing to completely replace my roof. From the initial bid through completion of the job, Deschutes Roofing has been one of the most professional and reliable contractors I have done business with in Central Oregon. Great communication, work was done early, roof looks great, and the crew cleaned up well after the job was completed. I would not hesitate to work with them again and recommend that you give them an opportunity to bid your project.
