Filthy, cheap, horrible mattress, unsafe door. No ventilation fans, online photos very deceptive, don't stay here. Cheap, nasty owners
For a bargain Motel in Monterey I believe this is a great spot to stay if your on a budget. We had a fireplace in our room which is perfect for the Monterey temperatures. As well as having an AC unit which came in handy as we did have some warmer days during our stay. Right across from the Del Monte Center which has several walking distance restaurants.
I would stay here again if I need to. Would recommend to others if they were passing thru Monterey for a few days!
Very nice place to stay for under $100 bucks a night in Autumn. Right near Everything under the stars near the Ocean, oh and a fireplace in your room~!!! Bring your own coffee pot and breakfast, theres a microwave and mini fridge..A great place to stay comfortableplease disregard the previous negative reviews.
It was nice but could use some up grades to the room loved that it had a fireplace in the room housekeeping cleaned room very good
This place is the WORST !! Deferred maintenance everywhere you look ! Broken bedside lamps, old mattresses, rotten carpets and there were 2 old hard pillows on the warped king size bed. The Dish TV sucked and I found myself eternally searching for something other then an infomercial. No even a box of tissue, coffee machine or breakfast. The old roadside sign tells the whole story !!
I'd rather sleep in my car !!!
I do not recommend this place even for one night. Everything in the room is dirty and What is the worst - cockroaches - i had to pack all my staff in the middle of the night to avoid bringing the bugs in my baggage.. disgusting
It was easy to find, fast check in and out. Comfortable beds and easy access to shopping center. Not far from the Beach.
I want to say something different about Del Monte Pines it's a very nice area very quiet if you would like to rest that the place to b. decorations is the rooms where very nice it made it seems that you were home on a scale from 1 to 10 1 being the best I would have to say that Del Monte Pines would be number 2
Decent place, nice people. Overall pretty clean and comfortable.
Dated decor and barebones (but clean) rooms, but for the money it's a perfectly functional place to sleep and shower.
Stayed here because it was the cheapest place available. Wouldn't recommend unless it's the cheapest option at time and price is the number one priority. Everything is a bit run down, doesn't feel too clean, and offers very basic amenities (they don't even provide tissues when we asked). It's easy access to freeway and along a strip of other budget inns, and right across from a mall.
Great location and great value for the price. A bit light on amenities and parking but quite nice.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the location is great. For the price it can't really be beaten. The reception staff aren't particularly nice or friendly but otherwise it's great.
