Stayed here in 2014 en route to Augusta National. It was the cheapest spot found between Atlanta and Augusta. Our room was virtually unchanged since Nicklaus won his last green jacket. Great memories.
The owner, or I'm assuming was the owner, was very polite and gracious. He gave us about 20 minutes in the room and called to see if everything was ok. I worked in the hotel buisness for a number of years and am very familiar with the "run down" , which I did before even bringing our luggage in. It wasn't a terrible room but it could use some tlc and good old elbow grease and just up keep and it would help tremendously. With that being said I know how difficult it is for owner operator's to run a hotel that's not making money hand over fist. It's usually family doing everything from front desk to laundry to housekeeping not to mention all maintenance on the property because it can be hard to find reliable help. It's in a great location and with a little facelift it could be a very desirable place to stay. It's in close proximity of anything and everything you want or need! I hope the owner gets a chance to freshen things up!
Could have some maintenance done he wouldn't let me have cup coffee at 5:30 in the morning I had to wait till 7 a long walk to the office for crippled man I stayed two days they had a pool I don't know if it was cold or not need some maintenance the door wouldn't open room good till I broken in it needed WD-40 but I didn't have it unless it home in the garage they didn't have any local numbers for restaurants couldn't look up Pizza Hut on Google. Why? I don't know I just drove down there and a drive-up window so set in my car in order to Pizza picked it up come back home to the room if he would have gave me coffee 5:30 in the morning I probably would have stayed another two days $49 a night now I'm paying 130 dollars, rambling Inn
I'm staying strong during the hurricane Irma as it's hurting my hometown South Florida, Broward County. I found this place in Madison, Georgia, Deerfield Inn & Suites, they're respectable professionals who treated us with care and took us in with a smile. I'm completely feeling better here and a little bit safe although the hurricane it's heading out this way I'm safe for now and I know my family and I will be ok. The staff members at this place are making sure our stay here is as comfortable as possible. I recommend it. The manager is very understanding and polite, the prices are fair and theres plenty of places around to eat or shop for whatever you need. To everyone who is reading this..be careful out there. And God bless you all. If you're heading out be safe. My prayers are with you all.
This place is basic with no thrills. The room was clean. The best part of this place was the owner. We are weary Hurricane Irma survivors and he was so kind, so welcoming and even though his neighbors were price gouging, he gave me a fair price and even let my dog stay. Thank you so much for your human compassion and general decency.
I was told on the phone that my wife and I would be able to get a room for the evening for $64.95. When we arrived, the clerk (who refused to give me his name) took one look at our admittedly unorthodox appearance and informed me that he would require a $150.00 cash deposit for us to be able to stay. This was a clear cut case of blatant discrimination against my wife and I and this establishment will be reported to the better business bureau momentarily.
The only good thing about it is the pool 😂😂
Recently renovated and REALLY clean. The shower and bedsheets were all pristine. The owners were super nice too!
Better than I expected
The Deerfield Inn is nothing great to look at but it was clean, comfortable and the owner was quite accommodating and friendly. I would stay there again.
Very accommodating! The owner treated my boyfriend, friend and I with respect and great kindness. We both booked two separate rooms for two days, one night for a wedding and morning-after-breakfast a few weeks ago. The owner was very understanding for a last minute booking for another friend we knew from the wedding. Was also understanding when we got too crazy (we are all 20-somethings). Thank you again for a great stay! Would definitely recommend
