A very good motel with affordable rate. Nice clean renovated rooms.

Our room is near office, lots of commotion during early hours. In accessible roomhuge bathroom, heat works well. NO microwave, oversized mini fridge. Bathtub has multiple safety grab bars, as well as one by commode. Only negative is some fixtures like bathroom tissue holder is extremely rusty.

We made an early reservation due to us traveling from Florida to North Carolina. Our check-in time was going to be between 11pm and 1am and we arrived at midnight.
When arriving, the motel sign was a little hidden from the road but GPS told us we arrived. We pulled into the motel, the entrance door was a little confusing because the door sign said "please swipe room key to enter" knowing I didn't have one, I went to the night registration window and that window said "use door to left". Maybe I was just too tired!
We did receive exactly what we asked for, a room with two queen beds, late check-in, and a continental breakfast, which was an additional $5.00 charge when I made the reservation. (confused because website says free continental breakfast)
The room we stayed in was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we felt safe. Outside lighting was GREAT! Continental breakfast waffles were good also.
If there could be any suggestions I could offer the owners, managers, or staff it would be the following
1. Please place a cigarette receptacle on the outside of the entry ways. Smokers are just throwing their cigarette butts right in the walkway to the access point of the motel, it just looks terrible. (yes, I'm a smoker but I clean up after myself)
2. Remove the pocket door(s) from the bathroom(s) and replace with locking doors or fix the tracking and lock mechanism to the bathroom. (our bathroom door did not close all the way or even lock, that was uncomfortable using the bathroom and showering with my son and 2 grandchildren).response / report this review -

The rooms look and smell clean. Up to date furnishings. Beds were great. Not too hard or soft, but the pillows were old and lumpy.
Front desk was friendly and helpful for it being 2am in the morning.
I would advise (which I do this EVERYWHERE we stop) check your towels and washcloths before using them.
One of our washcloths was dirty (not stained) the hand towels were used and one of our towels was filthy. **lazy housekeepers obviously**
Someone had stuffed cigarette buds down the sink and that made it clog. Found this out while our son was brushing his teeth cause the ash was coming up through the drain hole that suppose to prevent overflow.
Our fire alarm was missing, there were just wires hanging out of the wall. The TV was not working either, it had no signal for antennae, which it had a Charter remote (don't think it was suppose to be on antennae, who knows lol)
The refrigerator wasn't working either. Though I didn't check the plug, just know it wouldn't turn on. So the drinks we settled for since their vending machine was empty all except the orange soda got warm over night **sigh**
All in allif it's late and you just want to rest for a 1/2 decent price and get decent water pressure in your shower this is the place for you ;)response / report this review -

Show I was working for put me up here. Room was clean and had a fridge. Shower and sink had slow drainage. Also when I first entered they had turned the air off, so the room was hot. Took about 15 minutes to cool it off.

Very helpful staff. Average size rooms with dated bathroom fixtures. Needs an update soon. Great cable package with many stations. Website shows it has a gym yet does not have one. Beds are comfortable and we got a good night sleep. Has a free cold continental breakfast. Great to get your morning going and prepare for the day. Overall we had a good stay.

We booked two rooms at this dreadful hotel for one night in May, 2017 as we were moving into a vacation home on Lake Ococnee the next day. I'd never stayed in a Super 8 before and certainly won't make the same mistake twice; the hotel turned out to be a typical truck stop and the cleanliness of the rooms, barely passable, but that was the just tip of the iceberg. Early the next morning, my fiance and I were woken by my teenage daughters banging on the hotel door, their luggage in tow and the younger one, sobbing uncontrollably. Her sister had apparently awoken to find several bugs on her pillow and amongst her sheets, and at least nine bites marring one side of her face. A check conducted by a hotel staff member, discovered that her bed was infested with bedbugs, which had even begun to burrow into the mattress, itself. The hotel employee imediately promised a full refund for both rooms and a third room which had been booked by another family member, but the Manager merely comped my sister-in-law's room, leaving Expedia to reimburse us for my daughters', basically washing his hands of the issue. This has been an absolutely horrendous experience as my poor daughter served as a Bridesmaid at my wedding two days later, angry red welts covering the left side of her face. In the two weeks since, I have done everything physically possible to ensure that any bedbugs that may have infected my daughters' luggage/clothes have not made it into the family home and so far, so good. Please take head as the cost of exterminating an infestation, can run into the thousands!

Hotel stay went well. The room was quiet, clean, conformable, and had all the basics including a mini fridge, TV with plenty of channels, nice desk, iron, coffee maker, etc. The front desk person when I came in was friendly, the continental breakfast was good. The price was also very reasonable. It is about 3 miles away from the historic district of Madison and close to the highway and had stations.
