Decent value but not a great value, I asked about events to do in the area but since it was the off season not much going on, how do the locals entertain themselves?

It was Freaking dope. The pool was totes amaz and the coffee for breakfast tasted like lemon and twizzlers.

The only good thing thing was that there wasn't anything gross hiding in the beds. The rooms were barely cleaned. The remote had something brown and sticky on it. We were told our room was an upgrade because they messed something up. I'm guessing the upgrade was the fridge because the rooms were average size. The pool heater was broken, but they didn't bother to mention that when the rooms were reserved over the phone. We were there so my son could swim for his birthday. There were around 20 kids in the spa because they wouldn't go near the pool. I wouldn't let my kids in the crowded spa, so I looked like the bad guy to them. My son "got to" swim for about 15 minutes before his shivers were uncontrollable and his lips were blue (he really wanted to swim). As soon as we walked into our room, our dog ate something off of the floor, then he kept randomly licking spots on the floor like something hadn't been cleaned up (it wasn't from us). We did what they were calling a deal and getting a room for $75 that included two medium pizzas, 5 bread sticks, and a 2-liter of Pepsi. Their regular rates are $55, and we don't drink Pepsi (they don't say what brand in the advertisement). We got two rooms with that "deal." It took 1½ hours to get our pizza, and we were already hungry when we ordered. We will not be going back, and we do not recommend this place. FYI, everything online said Baymont Inn & Suites. Not even a temporary sign was up, so we drove in a nice circle looking for the Baymont Inn that doesn't exist yet.

Complete rip off, will not be back. Parking Lot is empty for a reason. Staff was nice and friendly but almost $200 a night for a motel quality room!?! Paint peeling off the walls in bathroom, wall paper coming off the wall in the room. Trim in bathroom is moldy and cracked. I wish I could add pictures of how embarrassing this "hotel" is. Complete and utter waste of money. Do not come here.

My stay at Days Inn Grand Haven MI was really great. The room was clean and nice, the indoor pool was also well kept and wonderful. The entire staff - very friendly. I will stay there EVERY trip in the future!
