The room was nice but over time there was an unpleasant smell that became really noticeable - like stale cigarette smoke seeping out of the walls. We slept with the windows open just to bring in fresh air - luckily the windows opened! The kitchenette was really nice to have, but not sure we would stay again.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights. The lady at the front desk was nice but did not understand that we had prepaid for the hotel. The room was great, it was clean, had lots of space and the kitchenette was quite handy. It was close to alot of different restaurants and easy to find. We would stay again as it was great value for the cost.

Clean, friendly staff, safe and comfortable! There's a kitchen area with a full size refrigerator stove, oven, sink cupboards countertops. Anything you need the stuff will provide, such as baking utensils and pans, dishes, silverware, and glasses, Etc They also provide you with plenty of fresh towels, any amenities that as toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap for your body, and face soap for your face, extra blankets if needed. I just was extra nice especially after the fact of spending the night at the worst motel in my life!

It looks good until you take off your shoes and walk on dirt, crumbs, little stones, until you see dried milk and food on the carpet, until you trip over the poorly done carpet patch, until you find hair on the blanket, dirt and red something on the back of the bed cover and hair balls on the sink counter grab a towel to clean it up and find a gross dirty damp towel!!!! In case that's not enough the tub is crackedlike step just right and it sperates..enough you could cut your foot or trip and fall. We gave the front desk a list but if your get room 110 check the tub before you get in!! We were offered the manager card so we could call her on Monday.really I guess they get the weekend off and we have to chase them down. lesson learned. I do have to say the front desk people were nice, they just need to clean and repair. Asking us to call instead of going to check the room or calling the manager was poor taste or having the manager call us like we don't have jobs and our job is not to case for the hotel.

Love the location, and kitchenette. Front desk fine, room ok. Liked that they even take pets, but hated with a passion that it seems there is no insulation or sound barriers between rooms and floors. The room next to us left their dog alone all day and it barked for three straight hours before I called from desk to call them and have them come comfort their pooch, and the sumo wrestler above us clunked around noisily for over two hours, as if people had left their rambunctious children alone there while they went out who cares where. I will think twice about staying here again, or request a top floor to limit at least one of the two experiences we had here this time. :-(

Horrible place to stay. Room was dirty caked on toothpaste in sink from previous guest. When I told front desk person she just looked at me. I cleaned it myself. No one ever cleaned my room the whole time I was there not even to empty trash or change the towels out I stayed 6 nights I did this myself. Management needs to check the rooms after the cleaning people are done to make sure things are cleaned I realize this is a cheap hotel but it doesn't have to be dirty and filthy. The beds were comfortable that's the only thing I liked. Front desk staff were nice.

The air conditioning blew on me as I slept. Because it had been a hot day I wore short pajamas, but had to change in the middle of the night. It's clean and quiet. Our queen bed was too small for two people who generally sleep single in a queen. It was the only room available, so we made do. Nice place, just wasn't perfect for us.

I love having lunch there with my kid. He would go for the grilled cheese, which is the best in the city. It gets these merits mainly for its bread! Grilled chicken or salmon with fruit is also high on his list when we go there. I love the beet burger (vegetarian and even vegan). I even prefer it to.

I went to Grand Rapids for training for a new job and booked this hotel since it was close to where i was training. The first room the I got was very dirty and had hair all over the sink. The second room was semi cleaned. Dropped something on the floor and it rolled underneath the bed. Then I notice a small package that was ripped. Most discussing place in Grand Rapids. By the way this is not mine. I will never stay there again.

Horrible. I booked a room on a third party website. Arrived at the hotel around 11:15pm. Apparently check in ends at 11pm which was not stated anywhere. I used a phone in the lobby to dial an after hours number and reached a very rude "employee" on the other end. After a few minutes of miscommunication over the phone I finally convinced him to come out to the front check in counter. He asked for my confirmation number and interrupted me multiple times to start over because he couldn't right it down fast enough?? And who knows if he really worked there. His attire certainly didn't spell out "hotel employee". I have no idea why he asked for a confirmation number because he just put me in a random room that was nothing like what I ordered. Customer service was horrible and I will never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone in the future.

Even though it says no smoking, it smelled like smoke. The bed was clean, but not anything especially comfortable. I only stayed for a day, so I chose not to rent any dishes for the mini kitchen. The room with no additional things didn't even come with a paper cup to get a drink of water. When I went to check out the front desk person was nowhere to be found. 10:30 in the morning, with 11am check out, and several guests waiting and then leaving in a huff when he never showed up. I finally knocked loudly on the desk and he popped out of the office immediately. I suspect he his feet up on the manager's desk watching TV and ignoring the cameras showing the front desk (I used to date a front desk worker, I know how these things go). I found it on offer for $64 for the night, it was definitely worth that, but for a relaxing experience I would go somewhere else.
