Clean room. It was a little hard but that's okay. Adjustable shower head with decent water flow. Limited continental breakfast, but it's free. Reasonably priced snacks. Will stay at again
decent room, clean tidy nice staff really small tv and in my opinion sub part housekeeping
The most horrible place we ever stayed in. Dirty--dirty-- dirty! The floor was so dirty A.D.
gritty when walking on it. We stayed just a few hours just few hours t
If I could give this hotel a zero, I would!! I think it's absolutely horrible that they raise their prices from $89 a night to over $220 a night during OU parents weekend. We spent over $525 for 2 nights at this disgusting place. I have no problem paying that much if it was worth it! Place is DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY!!!! Dead bugs in corner of bathroom, bathroom smelled like pee, a old pop bottle was on floor under AC unit which means they didn't sweep very good!! This place is so run down, it's gross! I wouldn't pay $50 a night for this place! GROSS, GROSS, GROSS!!!!
Clerk was nice. That was IT! We rented 2 rooms both doors looked as if they had been kicked in. One of the rooms did not even need a key to push the door open! First impression was old yellow comforter with cigarette burn holes!! Turn to shut the door to the room to find dirty hand marks all along the door. Bathrooms were extremely used and worn. Most of the caulking used to patch the broken tiles was peeling up. When we turned to leave the room, we saw all the dead bugs in the windows! I can't believe people would pay$ to stay here. We walked right back out and attempted to get our money back. USE a Credit card so you can get your $$$ back. By the way, we were charged the same amount had we stayed at the Holiday inn or Baymont inn. This is by far a $50 or less room.
Very friendly and helpful check in. Good upgrade with wooden flooring. Clean room and quiet area. Some trouble identifying access road but once located was easy to return. A lot of road construction in Athens, Ohio area is a little inconvenient.
Very dirty, sheets clearly were not changed and floor likely has never been mopped. My feet were dark brown by morning from walking around on the floor barefoot, that's how dirty it was. Go elsewhere
Stayed here for a few Honor Bands over the year. Wasn't absolutely dreadful, and I've met a lot of friends in these areas.
What you see is what you get. I need a place to sleep and that's what I got. It's too far from any food source so you'll have to bring in. But they have a fridge and microwave for you. Only the soda machinestake credit card and the Coke one wasn't working. I slept too long to get breakfast but the set up looked small. Overall, I got what I paid for.
I got a flat tire while on a road trip at night and needed a place to stay until a tire place opened. Upon arriving the accessible room that wasn't technically occupied was reserved for the evening but the person had not yet arrived. I am in a wheelchair but was willing to deal with a regular room and try to make the bathroom work, but the man at the desk contacted the person with the reservation to see if they needed the accessible room. They apparently did not and were willing to take a regular room. They went above and beyond to help ensure my comfort.
This hotel is off the main road but great as an affordable Athens option. The owners are working on upgrading the rooms. New beds, TV, etc.
Our rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff went above the norm to accommodate our needs. Glen was a Godsend helping me with temporary lodging for my grad student who's apartment wasn't ready.
The breakfast offered several healthy options and enough variety to satisfy us all.
