This days inn wasn't a bad place to stay but there were some things that bothered me. The first off the window at the front desk surprised me. It made the motel seem like it was in a bad neighborhood. As you can see from the included pictures the room wasn't bad. It looks like they have recently renovated but there are some things you can't as easily hide. For example at 6am both my wife and I are awoken by someone in the neighboring room taking a shower. Overall it was similar to what I've done to expect from days inn and other 2 star hotels just a little more run down.
Stayed one night and everything was great and decided to stay another. I made the reservation which said no depisute would be charged. Went to get the room and they wanted a depisute. Employee was rude and when I asked to speak to a manager was told I could not. Don't stay here if you can possible avoid it. The employees are awful.
This place is an absolute dump. The hotel clerk would NOT get off his phone long enough to rescan some room keys that wouldn't work. The rooms smelled funky and moldy and the shower was DISGUSTING. The coffee maker had hair in it, the toilet was stained. The air conditioner was horribly loud and smelled sour. I've stayed at days inn before and I've been mostly satisfied. This particular location is wretched. It advertised a "continental breakfast" which was stale wheat toast Cheap waffle batter and orange juice that tasted like orange Tang. I included a few of the pictures of this dump. From the stained sheets and towels to the staff that didn't have a care in the world about customer service. I will never in my life, set foot on this property again.
At check in, they had me down for a handicap accessible room for some reason, that was fixed quickly. The bed sheet is dirty as is the ironing board cover. But you get what you pay for right? Only here for one night anyway.
We stayed at this hotel the first weekend in October. The hotel was OK clean, floor was sticky and linens were stained bad but it was a affordable hotel. ROOM OPENED into the pool area and that was amazing for our kids. CURTAINS were awful dirty on pool door. Staff was friendly. Upon checkout we were charged twice for our stay, hotel did refund overage a week later BUT caused us to go overdrawn (family of 6 limited budget) and they have DONE nothing to correct it. Will not reply to messages left and corporate won't help. Bank says it's on the hotel. Will never repeat stay at a days inn :(
Our key didn't work so when I returned to the front desk, the guy talked to me like I'm dumb and didn't know how to open the door. Then after a second go around with a reprogrammed key (that of course didn't work) he tried and failed. He had to reprogram the door.
Finally, got inside to only be disappointed by the entire room. If you require a very hard bed, this is the right place for you. It has the old outdated a/c unit below the window.
On the plus side now, they did a nice job updating the sink and shower surround.
The bonus of this hotel vs most others. They offer smoking rooms. They also have indoor pool and hot tub!!!
Do not stay at this hotel. It has cockroaches we were only there for 1-2 hours and saw some immediately asked for my money back. Walls are paper thin..things were questionably clean and attendant had no customer service.
A great place to stay when traveling. Clean and the pool with the spa. Ah loved it
Nice and dark rooms so I slept very well. I didn't care much about tears in walls but they were there. Service was outstanding with the workers being polite and not asking for tips like at the previous hotel i stayed. Overall great experience
Very nice rooms, well kept and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again, the next time I'm in town.
We had a short overnight stay in the middle of a road trip. The hotel was inexpensive. The room was not "new" as stated on the sign out front; looked like it could use a good cleaning - stains on the comforters, stains on the ceilings, woodchips on the bedsheets of one of the beds, etc. There was a large dorm style refrigerator which was nice if you are staying a while. We were in after 11pm and out before 6am. I could smell a pool, and the hotel sign said they provided free breakfast, but we did not stick around to use any amenities.
The hotel is a little old, and feels like it. The room was clean and comfortable. There were no towels at the pool and when we asked for some, there were only a few. The breakfast was OK but not impressive. Checking in and out was smooth and the staff was friendly.
If there was an option to give ZERO stars I would have. DO NOT STAY HERE, IT IS NOT WORTH IT (EVEN IF YOU MAY SAVE A COUPLE OF DOLLARS)!!!! THERE ARE MANY MORE HOTELS ON THE SAME STREET (Hotel Ave. NE). CHRIS, the so called manager, IS HORRIBLE, RUDE, AND A POOR EXCUSE FOR ANYONE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I called to book a room for my fiance who is driving across the country. I was connected to the reservations department by the manager, Chris. Reservations told me that I WAS able to pay with my credit card over the phone, but they would have to connect me back to the front desk (Chris) to confirm that I was okay with my fiance checking in under my name and credit card information. When I spoke to Chris to confirm this he told me I was lying about what the reservations department told me about being able to pay with my credit card over the phone, that his employees would not tell me this, and that he was going to turn down my fiance for a room when he got there, IN WHICH HE DID TURN HIM DOWN. My fiance went right across the street to get a room at GUESTHOUSE INN & SUITES (10331 Hotel Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87123). GO STAY ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!!
It was pretty nice. I went for a social event and the room was not bad. It was a reasonable price and worked out well.
