Dated comforters look like they are from the 70's, rooms are large and has a fridge, decent soap, pillows are hard, TV and entertainment system is modern, easy to access plugs, paid $77 so not great value but not the worst. Room appears pretty clean. Just sleeping here, won't take advantage of any amenities. Coffee machine and coffee in room.
Best guest services I've experienced in a long time. Great rooms smoking and non smoking and surprisingly cheap for great rooms. They serve breakfast and are in a prime location to get anywhere.
Decent hotel to stay at for the rate they charge. Typical breakfast; 2 selections of cereal, flavored yogurts, bagels, variety of bread, and condiments to select from. Front desk was very pleasant along with the housekeeping staff. Free parking and a bonus of Dunkin Donuts on the side of the hotel.
Cable is awesome. You can fast forward and rewind the shows/movies while watching it and a selection of on demand tv shows, movies, cartoons, etc of all channels. The only thing i didn't enjoy was the shower stall, there was no tub in the room.
It's reasonably clean, good service, free breakfast, professional manager with customer oriented attitude. And it is very cheap too!! Right location near shopping malls and highway.
Okay budget hotel, but dated and not really comfortable. Better off getting a room somewhere else.
Everything was generally okay. Check out and check in were super quick, room was clean. A fire alarm did go off though and the front desk staff got it off but didn't really seem to think to inform people that things were fine? Other than that, which really wasn't terrible but a little jarring, it was a good experience.
The room itself was alright, the standard two bedroom. The continental breakfast was pleasant as well. The first floor ice machine was broken, and there was a small hole in our room's wall, but otherwise it was a suitable experience.
Location is very handy to SUNY and the albany area. I booked through priceline and got a room for $70, which seems like a good deal. It included a continental breakfast, but I didn't actually take advantage of that. The hallway had a mildewy smell and the room had a hint of mildew as well. The room could have been cleaner, there was still some trash and hairs from who ever had the room last. The room itself was standard hotel room size with some chairs, a table, a nightstand and a desk with a couple of outlets. There weren't any outlets very close to the bed, so I couldn't charge my phone AND laze on the bed (life is hard!). There was wifi, but slow enough where I'd rather just use my data. There was a fairly extensive menu for room service, but I didnt take advantage of that either. 3 of 5 stars for a cheap room, but you get what you pay for: a cheap room
Inexpensive and CLEAN place to stay. The room was very welcoming. The only thing we should opt for was microwave oven and refrig in the room. The bed was sooo.. comfortable. Front desk person very polite and welcoming. You had full control of the climate of the room. We will return again for the next visit.
There wasn't many free outlets to plug in electronics and the one's that were free weren't in the most accessible places. The shower head leaked, and there was some exposed wires hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom as if it was an unreplaced lighting fixture. Also the toilet wasnt cIean. I did enjoy the fact that they had cable, the wifi was easily accessible and the bed was comfortable. I also found my room very easily.
Great value for the price! Overall a nice room for cheap, we were only in town for one night for a concert. The room was clean and their breakfast area was wonderful. What blew me away the most was the desk clerk when we left Monday morning. If management is reading this, he was the most helpful person I've met this whole trip! He gave us advice for our next time and even helped call a taxi when my first one didn't show up. The value of the room vs cost I give a 4 star, but the customer service is 5/5!!!!
It's ok. It was cheap and convenient in order for us to stay the night and to tour the University of Albany the following morning.
