I have unfortunately dealt with several funeral homes in various areas over the years. I have actually been quite fortunate to see primarily very good service provided from those places. However, Davenport Funeral Home by far provided the best service I have seen.
I lost a very close friend last year. It was / has been a very difficult time for the family. Larry and the entire Davenport staff did a wonderful job right from the start. There are a lot of realistic things to address while you are in the midst of tremendous grief. The assistance of someone genuine, who has a real desire to help people is invaluable. Certain professions require more of a "calling" to do them well. It was obvious to me Larry has that calling / gift. You can't fake the genuine character he displays daily for this long.
The Davenport staff worked with us to handle every aspect of the arrangements, services, etc. They are knowledgeable, patient, and just generally helpful. This is the only funeral home I would recommend / use. I strongly suggest you speak with Larry and his staff.

As far as the services, friendly staff and helpful. You NEED TO MAKE WEB PAGE MORE USER FRIENDLY, IF YOU DON'T HAVE FULL NAME YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK . LIST NAMES OF PEOPLE INSTEAD OF HAVING TO SEARCH FOR NAME. Sometime I just have first name of friend of friends, no Way I can search for service. Have to depend on Wgog to get information
