My dad had made the arrangements and paid for his cremation before he passed. So my process with English was pretty smooth from the beginning until the end when I picked up his ashes. They were very empathetic, helpful, and professional.

Everything was well taken care of. The people were great. One mistake though, we only received about half of the prayer cards we ordered. Didn't think to count them when I picked them up as I was too focused on picking up my dad's urn.

This is in reference to my husband, Steven Hicks, and the care he and our whole family received from English Funeral Chapel & Crematory in Coeur d' Alene, Id on 4th Street. They were so professional and compassionate every step of the wayfrom picking my husband up from Schneidmiller Hospice to meeting with Mary Glenn and making arrangements for his cremation and obituary. Mary was so thoughtful, let us go at our own pace and answered all of our questions with such care and compassion. She kept us updated by phone whenever there was an update and when everything was completed. English also provided check off lists for things I needed to change and update and provided the necessary death certificates, so that made it much easier for me. I can't say enough wonderful things about English Funeral Chapel & Crematory and they are who I recommend to my friends and family.

Eric English and his family/staff were outstanding in the handling of my mother funeral service. There is no other funeral home that I could consider for our family's needs. Thank you English!

At the most devastating point in my life, English Funeral Chapel made my life a little easier by taking care of everything for me and my family. The loss of my husband left me in shock and they walked me thru everything with compassion and expertise. It was a huge weight off to be able to trust them to do what we needed. Very grateful.
