  DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! DO NOT RELY ON THE POSITIVE REVIEWS. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. Knowing small businesses suffered from the pandemic, my husband and I wanted to hire a local small company for some carpet installation in April 2021. Central Carpet came in to install a carpet on my steps and second floor hall. In doing so they ruined our once beautiful metal stair system. Rather than installing the appropriate way and raising the baluster shoes before the carpet was laid down, Central Carpet stuffed and shimmed the carpet under the metal shoes. As a result, the powder coating on the entire system is chipped and/or scratched. Every single baluster is ruined (see pics). The company refused to replace and remedy the damage they caused. They offered "touch up paint" which is not a solution - you cannot paint this metal, it needs powder coat. NOW the carpet is pulling up in several pockets on the stairs and in the hallway, it is fraying around the balusters and at the bottom of the steps. A trip in the hallway due to a huge bubble in the hallway was it for me. Consumers need to know about the property damage Central Carpet is responsible for and the shoddy install job. What a horrible experience. I will make sure I tell everyone I know, because I would not want anyone to go through such trouble and expense. Shame on you Ken & Central Carpet!

  Walked in to find a few pieces of flooring to help fill some gaps. I checked out the big retailers and they couldn’t help because they wanted me to buy a whole box. Dave was able to help and was so nice about everything, would recommend! Thank you Central Carpet Care

  Cannot recommend Lucas more from central carpet. He did an outstanding job getting some tough stains out of a two staircase carpet / hallway runner. The results spoke for themselves.

  We recently had multiple services done by Central Carpet and were extremely pleased with all aspects of the work that they did. They cleaned the ducts of our heating system, cleaned the carpet in our finished basement, put down new vinyl flooring in our upstairs bedroom and kitchen and re carpeted the stairs that lead to the bedroom upstairs. Each crew that came to our home was polite and professional and did an excellent job. Ken and Brittany were extremely helpful in working with us to choose the right flooring and carpet for our home. They also followed up after each project was finished to make sure we were completely satisfied with the work performed. We would not hesitate in recommending Central Carpet to our friends and family and will use them again in the future when the need arises.

  Although the work on the install of the floor itself might be acceptable, the way that our home was treated was not. Dust and dirt everywhere including places we had asked the installer to keep closed off, yet they did not. Scratches to appliances, scuffs and dents on the walls, glue on the wall, mismatched transitions are just some of what you will find. The workers were left unsupervised, and the owner only said that that unfortunately happens when the lead is not there, who was off working somewhere else instead of managing his crew. The offer to clean up afterward was little comfort when it felt like out home had been violated. Expect to spend days cleaning and repairing if they install, as this is much more than the floor they put in, but how they treat the environment and I will say it was not good, and it extended not only inside but the yard as well.
